When i got a message from friend that there is going to be new co-op game named Alien Swarm coming out and was made by Valve , i must say i was pretty excited , than he said "hey its going to be for free" and my red warning light and horns started to go crazy <scam , scam, scam .
You know when you get msg from someone on your friends list with link HeyFreeSteamGame.com or FreeAnything.com you know that its most likely scam and do not click on that link and that poor sucker just got most likely hijacked........... "No it is NOT a scam! Go check your Steam account and search for Alien Swarm" he said. So i did and must say, it is NOT a scam and it really is for FREE

Alright, it has been out for few days now and thought i will try it out. So i did try it for 10 minutes ,must say it looked like it might be good fun , but unfortunately its in 3rd person and view from the top (god eye view)which is just nightmare for me ,since i can't play games that using this set up , for some reason that set up just makes my head spin and not the way good beer does .

Ok after little digging around i found that ,you can set it to first person view through the console,so if some of you guys have same or similar problems with the "god's eye view" here is solution
first go into your settings and check the box that says "enable developer console"
than just go into game open console with ~ and type there
sv_cheats 1 press enter
firstperson press enter
asw_hide_marine 1 press enter
asw_controls 0 press enter

and now you should be able to play in first person view, for sure it doesn’t feel as a native first-person shooter game ,but i would say it works pretty well
