I was in a server just a few minutes ago, and everyone was going heavy to hit the boxing ring. One player, I can't remember his name by it had *pyro* in it, was at the door, opening it for people to enter and then closing it once they were in.
The admin told him to quit doing that, and that the door was supposed to be open. The person in question said he was just opening and closing it for people, and the admin said it was meant to stay open. I asked why it would have an open and close button then. He said he was going to ban us, so I said "He isn't like locking people out, calm down" and he banned me.
I frequent the Beerheads trading server I got banned from a lot, and think it's not right of an admin to act like that. We weren't be obstinate or anything, he was just throwing his weight around.

It's cool, I'd just like to get back into the server.

Also, I dunno if it's stupid to inquire about this on a thread about my being banned, but how would I become an admin? I'm sure there are posts and stuff about it on here, but if I have the man himself to ask, y'know...

Also, I just read that. Never knew that about the doors having to stay open, so I guess it's my bad for being on the wrong end of the discussion, but I still think that was quite an overreaction haha
