| BlazingPC.com Bad Company 2 Server Shut Down |

Due to the loss of players after the R7 patch, the server never was able to recover and fully populate. The end of the service contract came up and I let the server go. Perhaps in the future we can aquire a new one, but for now in the interest of saving money, I have shut the server down.

This brings a lot of positives to the table! With the R7 client patch, things should start to shape up a bit. PB is now mandatory for Ranked servers. No more needing to stay on R8 for the "PB trick" since the in game browser is fixed with client patch R7 and PB enabled servers are listed correctly. There are now several !vote commands available to you: 1. !votekick - Kicks a player 2. !voteban - Bans a player 3. !voteskip - Skips current round 4. !voteskipmap - Skips current map 5. !votescramble - Scrambles the teams in case they are stacked Team balance now swaps players to the other team instead of kicking them. Please note that people in the clan are exempt from both Team Balance and Team Scramble. So please, if it is really stacked, do the right thing and switch teams. It's our server representing our site, don't be an asshat.

| Just as I was posting good news... |

Server release R9 has broken most popular BC2 RCON tools, including the one I was using. The Dev is working on a new version and it should drop this afternoon sometime. So as of right now the only control I have is within the Gameservers CP. Bleh. I will do my best to restore normalcy tonite.

| Automagic Mixed Game Types! |
|
I have changed Rcon tools and now the server has fully functioning, automagic mixed game types. All the maps are there and they now switch between Rush and Conquest! Enjoy! As always, any issues feel free to contact me here or on the BlazingPC.com forum.
