Hmm a quick guide for new guys here, on how to get twice as much, or more, out of your shields .

By now, you would have probably noticed the 1/2 button on the bottom right hand side of your screen, which switches between two sets of weapons/equipment you may have geared up already.

I will now explain a way of gearing up your second equipment switch in order to get more out of your shields. There are other ways to equip your second switch, but for now I will be only talking about the Shield aspect .

To equip your other switch with weapons/items, go to your hangar, click on equipment and click on the [2] button situated above the [Drones] one. Once you have pressed that, you should notice a blank equipment sheet, just like the one you used for your first switch.

Equip all your guns on here, the extras you want to use, and put Shield Generators in all the engine slots. Now click on the [Drones] button, and equip shields onto your drones. This will mean when you switch onto the second switch, using the [2] button just above your map, you will be using a nice and fresh set of shields, with no damage.

This does not require buying additional shields, (appart of the ones for the drones, if you do not use shields on drones on your first swap), somehow the shield generators on the second set stay at 100% even if the same generators are getting battered on swap on .

Now, when it comes to using it, when your first shield is depleted, or when you are about to die, or whenever you might need extra shields, just swap onto the second switch, and you will have nice and full shields once again .

Repairing: Remember when you are repairing, to swap between the switches in order to recharge the shields on both switches, as the shields on the other switch will not regenerate if that switch is not active.
