To make this clan better we need to get people out of pheonixes, so i suggest we get mentors, these are strong people who could help out one or two people hget into better ships, it could just be helping kill things as simple as that! But the lowers have some one they can always depend on.

I am very interested in this idea, and would like to get other members views on this..

The problem i see is if every member of C~W is assigned a member of C~C to help individually, what happens if the cub is on and his mentor isnt alot? also it will restrict the growth of the C~W member greatly.

I had always envisaged the C~W trying to grow themselves and helping out any cub they come across, whilst the cubs stick together and learn together, with advice and help from their commanding officers, as well as any Warrior they bump into.

I think the GSC room makes this so much easier to co-ordinate.

I hope to get to the point one day where we can afford to put all members of C~C into a bigboy and all members of C~W into a goliath but we need first to be sure they are capable enough of keeping these ships otherwise we are throwing credits away.

in theory an excellent idea. in practice, it will cause the c~w clan to suffer, possibly even cause people to leave. if you look at all the cubs that have gsc (e.g myself, joffy, wazner, daniel etc) we all group together and help each other level and make our own money and ep. we are more than capable of leveling ourselves and as for people who are in pheonixs patrolling 3-1, that, in my opinion, is the easiest and quckiest time to level as you have minimum threats. however, we dont want people with just pheonixs in our clan and we dont want baby sitters as we will cause them to suffer, so here is what i propose...

everynow and then we cubs need a hand coz of another company or vru bully comes along or were stuck on our own trying to complete a devo quest. usually theres 3-4 of us in one place at anyone time. so instead of each of us havijng a baby sitter, howabout just two people or so stay in the lowers all day floating between the maps killing and gaining alittle bit of ep and keeping the other companies out and giving a helping hand when needed. and as for the pheonixs's, howabout raising the level to cc to sumat like level 5 and giving starting grants to new member?? what does anyone else think? sorry for the essay lol, HMS_Vengence

Deffo a good idea but like u said easier-said-than-done!!

I don't mind helping out lesser ships by all means but what we (in my opinion) need to avoid is the ...."Come on xxx in your phoenix lets go kill a Sib" because what invariably happens is that teh phoenix will take 2 hits from teh sib and be dead!!

Help with completing the quests is a good way to build both EP & credits and once ALL new members have completed the "mandatory" easy peasy quests then it should be a case of asking for help with the slightly more tricky ones to get everyone going.

I think it's a great idea though Tru to get everyone into the ships, maybe it could be a pre-requisite that the new member must demonstarte that they can circle and enemy, drag an enemy... etc etc.... before they can be given teh honour of an "easy ride"???

Whilst I'm new myself I found everyone here to be uber friendly and helpful, having dealt with plenty of online game clans in the past I can assure any newish members that this clan is up there with teh best of them!! With some strategic policy in teh near future I'm sure we can climb teh ranks a few places

Not sure we need a restriction on entrants to the Cubs surely that is a natural place for low levels to go?

perhaps in the future if our clan swells further we need a clan between the cubs and the warriors or after the warriors perhaps for levels 10-12 i dont know, im just concerned that will require unecessary endless changing of clans.. If we had a 0-5 clan for pre-cubs the members would be chainging on a daily basis...

I do like the idea however of members 'patrolling' the lower maps.

At the moment i see the leaders of C~C doing this but at the moment both Blackness and Re-Action are away on holiday for the week, but theses two and 1stclaret [the leader and two 1st officers of C~C] are more than powerful enough to repel any attacks on C~C i feel.

As our two clans move forward and members are more powerful it will be easier for us to defend ourselves, we are all a part of that progress.

Todays cubs are tomorrows warriors, those getting attacked now are the ones new pilots will be looking to for guidance in the future....

New clan.... Celtic Headhunters [C~Hh]...Google it ... For level 12/13/14+ whatever?!?!

I actually meant that a pre-requisite for being given a decent ship would be to "pass a test" to show you can circle/drag etc

thats certainly a good idea if we do ever bring 'free ships' into clan policy.

Clan driving instructor as a new rank lol

I agree that something needs to be done in respect of increasing the fleet and advancing the quality of the ships, as for mentor's, re-action and grufstar pointed me in the right direction, and I have learned more in the last week, that the previous month, maybe we should have a rank training eg. training officer, and they would be on hand to help and guide new members, as for "free" ships, I think that the clan joining fee should be non-refundable until a member decides to leave the clan and this credit is available to those who have proved themselves worthy of getting a better ship, but the will have to have the uri to cover replacement and do the improvments eg. drones, shield generator's, etc themselves, we just give them a ship to start with, leave them have as many of the lower level quest completed to gain credit etc, and encourage them to collect the bonus boxes to get ammo, credits, uri etc.

Speed.

I like this idea about training officers very much.

I did write a reply to this but took so long to write it out i had been logged out so lost it all - here is the concise theory-

We have [example 3] training officers in C~W who are all in lowers, they remain there helping C~C train up until such time as they are all online at the same time. Then they have permission to go to higher maps to train themselves. They can stay there as long as they want until they are all online at the same time again when they travel down to lowers to continue their work training others. This eliminates the danger of travelling through battle maps alone. The other thought i had was we have [example 4] TO and we must have 2 at all times lower and 2 may train for xp in uppers [if they want] this would take coordination in changing over, and risky travelling of bmps.

Anyone interested in such a position please post here or clan message me.

Thank you for all your thoughts so far, please discuss this idea further

as far as free ships goes, pending further discussion within the ranks, a satisfactory solution to this may have been created.

I certainly think anyone getting ships should be kitting them out before getting them. For example when payday comes and cubs are getting 500k instead of buying a venge and some ammo a cheaper ship and a 256k shield would be a better as the shield will always be with you, the ship, in some cases, wont be with you long at all.

Some good points made here........i do tend to go from higher to lower on a daily basis but if it was planned to have 2 ppl in lowers at all time there would have to be a change over every 2 days or so due to needing alot more ep to lvl up the higher your lvl.
