Training Schedule For "Newbie" Pilots:

Welcome Trainee Pilots to the JayAce Training Academy, over the next few hours you will be taught by expert Dark Orbit gamers how to become one of the Elite and how to become an active member of one of the highest ranking clans in the galaxy...... The Celtic~Warriors [C~W].

You have been taken into the training clan Celtic~Cubs [C~Cb] with warm and welcome arms, we do not prejudge and all are welcome, however we ask that whilst you are under our wings you please respect our clan ethics and obey the very few and simple rules that we have. At no time will we ask you to go above and beyond your duty and the aim of this game is to have fun!!!

Day 1:

Welcome To Celtic~Cubs...

We ask that you please download and install the GSC Client which is a chat screen enabling us all to keep in touch easily and in private. The instructions can be found *here*. Once online with GSC you will introduced to your flight instructors and the ranking officers of Celtic~Cubs and Celtic~Warriors. We will also show you our clan forum and ask that you read the "Tips" section there which has lots of very useful information which will be invaluable throughout your career.

Day 2:

Welcome To The Galaxy...

You will be taken out with your designated Training Officer(s) and shown the "ropes", this will include the various types of flying we carry out and attack manouveres such as "The Drag", "The Circle" and the "Run & Jump". Once your Training Officer is happy that you have completed these manouveres successfully you will graduate the 1st phase of your training!! WELL DONE!!

Day 3:

The Battle Begins...

You will now be taken out with your designated Flight Instructor and shown how to effectively deal with the real world of Dark Orbit. Once in a while we all suffer a defeat in battle so it's quite important that you pay attention to your Uridium balance, we MUST ensure this never drops below 1000 but don;t worry right now because your instructor will tell you all you need to know about that and how to collect more. You will carry out your 1st major attack & kill today of a large NPC (such as a Devolarium or Sibelon) and your skills you learnt in Day 2 will shine through and help you become teh best you can be. After a few succesful attack runs you will be given the opportunity to collect some valuable resources and carry out your 1st quest!! From here on in it gets very exciting

Day 4:

It's Time To Upgrade...

Now that you have carried out and completed your 1st few quests, have levelled up a few times and have some credits in the bank it's time to get you a nice shiny new ship and some shields/engines/weapons to go with it. Your designated Flight Instructor will authorise a payment of credits into your account from the clans funds, this will be enough for you to buy your new ship... The "BigBoy" and some carefully selected extras which will be pointed out to you at the time. Then after some setup it's time to take her for a spin round the galaxy!!

Day 5+:

Well for the near future it's time to settle into teh daily game routine of Dark Orbit which involves levelling yourself up to gain access to the higher maps, better ranks and completing even more daring and dangerous quests. You'll gradually build up your ships weaponry and soon you'll be ready to join teh ranks of teh Celtic~Warriors once you reach level 11.... No doubt in your brand new shiny Goliath battlecruiser with a full arsenal of powerful lasers and rockets!!

To Be Continued....

I have an idea as well it is only small compared to jays but what i think we should do is have a couple of Fighter Trainers to train any new members of C~C we should help them gain 200k buy killing devs or anything else then they can get themselves a big boy. This would help them alot in becoming bigger and stronger. Why they are getting there 200k the Fighter Trainers to teach them fighting moves like how to drag an alien or how to do big circles around them ETC... .

Once they have there big boy we can start to help them do quests and so on.. . Then we help them kill some more so that they can buy shields and guns.

thats all i got lol

I THIMK THIS COULD BE A GREAT IDEA BUT.........its all well and good training people up and getting them a big boy but what happens when they lose it and they havent got any uridium to repair it ?.
Im all for this idea but i do think people who want this training need to be responsable for the upkeep of there ship otherwise we could end up going round and round in circles with the same people and not getting anywhere atall .

Yeah I keep reitterating (is that how you spell it?!?! hmmm) that members MUST keep a minimum of 1000Uri in teh bank to cover deaths, this is an easy figure to maintain using kills/boxes!!

The training officer idea has already been discussed here
http://www.gametracker.com/clan/celtic-warriors/forum.php?thread=2092
and will be implemented soon.

I love what your doing jayace, please note i have created a thread for it here
http://www.gametracker.com/clan/celtic-warriors/forum.php?thread=2173

continue there at your leisure mate, but please note credits will not be given out from C~Cb to buy pilots ships, not now, perhaps not ever so exclude that from your ideas please.

C~Cb operates with a weekly payday, at the moment this is set at 250k per week so you have ample funds there to buy a bigboy.

There is also a system nearing fruition which will soon be implemented i hope, which will allow pilots from both C~W and C~C who prove their worth to be rewarded greatly and give the funds necessary to buy and equip powerful ships.

What about having a weekly meet? We try and get as many of us online at the same time, that way the bigger members can take on bigger ncps and the smaller members get the cargo and get shown how to kill a sib?
