Who's Next?
Well it really depends how serious you want to get with scriming. Right now there is definitely a clear division in the top scriming clans in North America like Pk, >, $, and ><, when compared to public server clans like iT, [Legion], and... (Gasp!) CTU. That's a decision we are going to all have to make on how serious we are going to get with this. If we decide to become more competitive, a server where we can practice regularly on is a must, as well as some sort of voice communication like Teamspeak. And not to sound harsh, but roster cuts would probably need to be made so that only our best listening, most skilled, and most active members are in the clan (I know I am one to talk since I'm on like 2 days a week haha). It's your clan and you should do what you think is best for it, but personally I would stick with being a fun first/public server Tremulous clan who scrims on occasion with other like-minded clans. Too much change would need to be made going the competitive route and quite frankly it looks like most people are enjoying themselves as we are now ![]() |

Well.. I would definately like to srimmage more, but making cuts.... Im not sure what the purpose is. We can have members that we dont scrim with. I would DEFINATLY like to get some practice on a regular server for scrimmagin. That is partly why i thougt it would be cool to get a CTU server runnin. We could play for fun on it and it would be good practice with normal speeds and what not. Any luck with that btw?
Edit: Oh yeah, and I have ventrillo installed on my computer, should we use teamspeak? This is what im thinking for our regular scrimmage line up: Bauer (obviously) Ryanw (obviously) Korn Kable I think that these would be the best because i know they speak good english and would be good with teamspeak/ventrillo I know that : Weed Killer SpiderPIGy Predator xWarBananax MindField Kraken Would probably be good help. These are some of the others to consider whos skills i hold in high reguard. (If I left you out i dont mean you suck ![]() ![]() The problem with them is Im not sure how their english is (just because i dont know where they are from) MindFields is good i think, but depending on where he is from he might have an accent which is hard to understand. Weed and Killer (brothers) are from holland and would probably have accents, Weeds grammar is pretty good, but killer I dont think speaks much english...soo.....These are just some to consider. Maybe i will post a poll or something to help decide our scrimmage line up or somethin ![]()

Bauer youre ideas are good but are you thinking a little too much about Team speak?
I think you should be picking the best players in CTU, THEN cutting out those who don't speak very good English, but still, you don't have to use Ventrillo do you? |

The reason cuts would need to be made is because we would need more than a 4 man scrim team to scrim regularly. Even though my clan Xenocide is pretty inactive right now, we can usually muster 4 members for a scrim and can be competitive even if we haven't played in a while. That wouldn't be possible if we had just four members we let scrim, and we couldn't be competitive if we weren't extremely strict with who we let into the clan in the first place.
And Teamspeak is a must for organization. I was in one clan (AA) that was organized without Teamspeak/Ventrillo, and that was because all the members had been playing for years together, each player had an extremely high individual skill level, and we all played pretty conservatively. Server-wise its basically when I can find time to get the Visa Gift card. I've been having a pretty busy week since most of my courses want to get exams in before Easter. I might be able to find some time to do that tomorrow I can't promise you though. Friday might be a better bet. |

Alright. I wasnt sure how big it should be, but yeah I could just add some of those others. # of members isnt really a problem in my opinioin. We have plenty, I just wasnt sure what the regular number of player in a scrim was. There are a few other poeple I would like to get into CTU. AngryScottsman for example. He likes me and I like him so maybe i can do somthin with him
