Just a few concerns...

1) People who have access to admin that allow other people to play on their accounts.

- I have seen this in more than one instance and it makes no sense to me to allow people who do this to continue having admin privileges on the servers. It is basically giving power in our servers to someone that should not have access to it.

2) Former members who had admin that still have admin access.

- Not picking on Alaska because he is a cool guy, but he and people who moved on probably should not have admin access any longer.

3) Poor judgment.

- Admins who consistently display poor judgement in how they use their admin and how it affects other players in the server probably should not continue to have admin privileges. Changing maps without asking, slaying everyone in the server (even if it is the end of the round), no clipping when players not in DAO are in the server, etc. are things that are going to not help our case when we already have people who may not care for us that enjoy attacking our servers and looking for additional reasons to stay angry and fuel their hostility.

4) Lack of patience and due process.

- Being an admin requires some level of patience. Admins who ban a new player to the server who shot someone in our imaginary knife zones when we have no MOTD explaining things like that deserve the opportunity to get it right even if you're having a bad day. Slap him, slay him, kick him, all with reminders about what he did wrong. If he still doesn't get the picture/care, temp ban him. If he still has issues then give him a perm if warranted. I've seen people let their mood get the better of them and a ban without warning take place more than once.

Just some observations... sorry if it upsets anyone, but I like playing in our servers and I like when other people like playing in our servers as well.

u are right on most of that i am how ever up north right now i am unable to get on to steam right now while i am up here i be here for a week.

I did take care of a few admins i have been getting complants about i am letting alaska keep his admin cuz like u siad he is a cool guys and has not once abused it and as i am see right now thats very hard to come by so when i get back home i will take a look at it right now i am just trying to relax after my car accedent i am also probley going to go back to mani admin becuase then someone other than me can manage admin like wiccan or brass.


trust me your not the only one noticeing it and when i get back him in about a week shits going to change and i will finally start to play agian thank god lol]

Maybe this is none of my business, but I admit I'm a little upset to hear that laundry had his admin removed, no maybe he isnt perfect, but from what I can tell it was basically removed because he got into a fight with Chitlins/Alaska and some other guy. Some guy had come into the server with his name as $EK$ Mcloven and considering all the shit that has gone on laundry told him to change his name. This is the point where the shit pretty much hit the fan and they all proceeded to give laundry shit about it. The 3 of them basically laced into laundry giving him shit and saying they would get his admin removed, him kicked out, etc. I cant say that I would have done anything different if I were in laundry's position.

Like I said laundry may not be perfect, but laundry does enforce the rules and of course its probably none of my business and maybe I dont know everything, but I think he should still be one to keep it.

(I know I am picking on Alaska here and I am not saying he abuses his admin, he does use it responsibly).

Regardless the amount of bullshit drama (whether with admin or other crap) I have seen displayed by several of the DAO members in the past several days has certainly made me no longer want to apply (I still like a lot of the members, but there are quite a few idiots too), but has driven me to the point where I almost dont even want to play on the server anymore. I can tolerate a lot of bs, but not many ppl are as tolerant as I am when it comes to this stuff (I am talking about random ppl that join and play).

Sorry if I ran onto a tangent or derailed this some, it seemed relevant, but regardless industrial's points are quite valid.

Exactly what Smoke said in the above post. I checked the server as I always do, just incase it's on a map such as Brokeback Mountain, or GG_Change where 99.9% of the time, someone wants a map change. While checking the server, I see someone with the name $EK$ Mcloven. You and I both know Mcloven well enough to know that he'd throw a little hissy fit if he saw someone mocking his name, especially in our server. So before jumping in and asking myself, I asked Alaska, who was already in the game, to tell the person with said name to change their name. He told me straight up "no". I insisted, and he said that he knows the guy. I said that I don't give a shit, because i'm trying to prevent inevitable drama with that name. I go in there, and it happens to be Mike Rowe. I asked Mike nicely, please change your name. He told me straight up, "Why do you have to be such a dick to everyone, nobody really likes you, it's just a fucking name". That's not verbatim, but that's the jist of what he, Alaska, and Chitlins said. Now i've already spoken to Chitlins, but Mike Rowe continued on and on and on to the point where I had to manually change his name via admin command. Now, to me..this isn't an example of admin abuse. Mcloven will obviously bitch and whine until he pays someone else to crash our server. All I was doing was trying to prevent that. Also, when Mike Rowe...a guy who isn't even in the damn clan, starts mouthing off to one of the admins..I think that's a reason for a mute, if not a kick and ban. Lord knows that if he did that shit to you, Wiccan, or Brass, he's be banned in a heartbeat.

Also, I agree with Industrial on the fact that people who are no longer in the clan shouldn't have admin for obvious reasons.

there is no more camping rule cuz some people will not listen and also seems to be casuing trouble for our admins

no more kinfe rule in any rooms like in gg conor back room u know what i mean

there will be no muteing or mocking of clan memebers in my servers this is zero tolerance if i hear of an admin slaying cuz of camping or mute just cuz they don't like the person playing i will come down hard

sence wiccan and brass do not play as much anymore i will be looking for some new people to help me run this clan i will be picking them my self and asking if u would be intrested DO NOT MESSAGE ME ABOUT IT OR I WILL NOT ASK U lol anyways see u guys monday
