| The early 1940's, man is peering upon the screen of one of the earliest computers. The data being processed, the numbers appearing; it was truly a revolutionary machine. Suddenly, something shatters their blissful daze of technological wonder. A speck, a dot, a pimple on the face of glory, a... Dead Pixel. Something so small and insignificant, yet so damned annoying. The first of those to see this imperfection held a conference, nothing was really accomplished at the meeting, but they did decide to form an organization, a secret society; An elite computer based community of the most experienced.
