Round House
Nightfire

I also like Station but we haven`t seen that for awhile.

Station is not in the rotation at the moment cos of the dodgy spawns for War,and other gametypes in general, i think.


Hangar (my favourite map but only plays well when you have nicely evenly matched teams which is so hard to find on that map)
Airfield


Annoyingly most of my favourite maps are not in the rotation or will only rarely make a brief appearance like Airfield

My favourite maps are Hangar Asylum and Upheaval, all maps we never run d'oh.

My most hated i actually have quite a few i dont like many of the maps and the others are merely ok in my opinion.
Most hated- Kneedeep followed by Nightfire Downfall Roundhouse and Castle

However those are my opinions on it when it comes to playing it for War gametype.

I like Hanger, Downfall and Upheaval and Asylum. I agree with Matt, it's tough to get a balanced game going in Hanger tho - I hated that map on other servers, but I really liked it when I played it here.

I really really really dislike Kneedeep, not a fan of Nightfire either really, the other maps are ok tho.

station and kneedeep would be good only for CTF and DM in my opinion.

I do like hanger too, but didn't mention it as its not in the rotation

I only mentioned hangar cos it used to be in the rotation and it has made an occurance sometimes again since the early days.

I LOVE UPHEAVAL, ASYLUM AND DOME! My favorite maps are also not in the rotation. The rotation is for the benefit of the public players which is what keeps this server full (of noobs and nubs). Unfortunately, if 100% of the members asked for Courtyard (for example), they would be very disappointed.
On the other hand, the mod server is our personal playground and democracy may prevail there. But that's Ophe's call.
The only time democracy will prevail on the main server is when few players are on and admins can manually call in any map (except Courtyard)

What Maps do I Like?

I prefer the USGS topographic maps and have also used National Geographic and Rand McNally. I went through New Zealand with the Lonely Planet map/guides but find the Michelin and Thomas offerings a bit snooty. Is Hagstrom still around? I do, however, miss the free maps from the service stations although mine were always defective and never folded back correctly.

There is also MAPS (the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies). No sh*t. This group really exists. www.maps.org

As far as COD:WAW I die the same in all of them.
