Me and Agent_Jens had a great time playing at your war server yesterday!! Just wanted to drop by and post a little mess and say thanks - great initiative to try this mod for your server! It took some time before we understood what happened with custom classes etc, but that worked out fairly well. Even if there were some hazzle at first, it payed back well with REALLY fun gameplay - tough but balanced and a loveable absence from noobtubers etc.

It's soo sweet to find servers that are handled with care, way to few in this game unfortunately..

Thanks for the compliment. Our server needs all the support it can get right now. We are taking a big gamble by taking our established WAR server and modding it.
So it's me that should be thanking you for helping us get it going. We will be adding a new custom map every month so that should keep things interesting.

I played the dddmod a few times on a test server. Now, the mod was activated on the "real" DDD Geronimo. I want to give you some feddback:
1. The game is more laggy (I'm from Germany, sometimes the ping is over 400ms, instead of ~140ms) since the mod is active.
2. I hope, the "good old players" come back soon. I think many search the server, but they wont find, because "MOD" in the search option is disabled. You should post in in a sticky thread!!!
3. Second chance doesnt work for me?!? Is it a bug, or do you want to disalbe it forever?

Summing up, I think the MOD is the right way. But there is still much to do to get back to the "old days". Hope everything will be good

Thanks for the feed back NetworkZ. I don't think the mod has anything to do with your lag. We have many players from Germany and around the world whose ping hasn't changed.
Players should not have a hard time finding the server if they had it saved to favorites. I think some players don't know how to work around the mod. We too hope they will return. I think the new custom maps we will be adding will also draw more new players. As far as Second Chance, I do believe it is disabled.
We are very thankful for players like you who have supported the change by spending time on the server. If we could have more players like you the server will return to what is was faster.

Thought I'd jump on the bandwagon. Great Mod, and I'm sure in time players will find the server and download the mod. I have no difference in my ping I (I live in Ireland) - in fact I noticed a slight improvement but that could down to my provider. I've always suffered from occasional lag on high ping servers and I haven't noticed any difference. I use my PC for work so I can't stay logged in all day, but when I'm not using it I'll keep the connection to the server open until it gets busy again. Good work!

Update:
Due to the lack of support for the mod, the main server was restarted in stock mod again.

well done with this mod, i like it because it was inpossible to brake rules but the ping was up and down for me as well.
I hope this mod will come back again!

I have seen not so mutch players on the new mod server. It`s a pity. But why?
To tell the truth: For my opinion, nowbody want to play on it. The good old Server have more dynamik, action, speed and fun. It is war on this server, and this is good, becausae war is the game.
This is the good image from the DDD server: good players and unbeatable atmosphere.

For me,the best mod server ever is the pistol and knife Jump server.

All people witch met the mod server soooo goood. Come on this mode server. He is the best.

I have forgotten. Don`t get me wrong. All involved parties have done a great job of course.
DDD has the best server mix. I think the Main server Geronimo`s war is indispensable.
Thanks to all founders, admins and developer for the hard work. You give us a lot of fun.

hi, i've played a lot only sat cause the 15h aug we celebrate "ferragosto" and we go all to the sea...

the only thing that i dislike is/was how we die during the game...i don't know how to explain that...but for the rest i don't notice other problems


i think the mod server will have more luck when mw2 will be available
