Well the pc went down...again.......blue screen and all......Im on a very old xp unit tha is slow as mollases......hopefully will be back up and running soon...will depend on $$$$$$$$$.....pretty sure the vid card went too....they are doing a stress test to see what fails hopefully they can get it right........

well got machne back today and graphics are as bad as ever....they said they ran a 3d stress test and it passed easily but when i ran the same tests at home is was sluggish as hell.....so will be bringing it back in again .......i still think the crackling sound issues has something to do with it.......i reinstalled game and single player worked like crap...and oh yes forgot to back up profile so i get to start over when and if i get this fixed......DAMMIT....so will be on the old xp again forawhile i guess.....sound issues mess with vid?????

lol...If i was not so new here, I would have said the same thing!

htey will get one more crack at it then ill look to ship it down there G.... Im about to wipe this pc completely.....install windows 7 on it and go from there i would assume that would fix any software issues then it could be narrowed down to hardware if need be

br careful about installing windows 7 unless you are sure your components are up to the task. it is a very good system and much better than vista, but it nonetheless built on the vista core, so if your system worked there finee; otherwise run a compatibility check first

i have install windows 7 too many older pc/laptops , all they works but sometime i have too search for a older driver sommetime .
the specs are lot lower than vista .

this was weird......i was playing tiger woods 08...a message pops up that the video card was imcompatible...then an error insufficient video memory.....game started and played fine......a couple times graphics got real sluggish and sound stuttered like crazy.....
