I used to be a daily/weekly regular on a DDD server in Battlefield 3. I was banned probably 2-3 months ago I believe. To be honest I couldn't tell you exactly why I was banned. I doubt it was for a cheating suspicion, I don't get many of those. And I don't attack vehicles in bases or ignore objectives.
I do remember there was a run of servers around that time that was banning a member of the group I play with because of his KDR. Afterwards the group would all attempt to get banned so we didn't accidentally join that server from the browser (and subsequently have to quit because we couldn't all join). Unfortunately, Dice does not allow a server blacklist for this purpose.
