It all started 10 years ago...
Somewhere in 1996, I (unjusT, back then known as Crow) used to play doom2 with my friend Oinc in private lans. When Quake 1 came out, we moved to quake with some of our friends and started to play as a team. Defs were born.
We spent 3 years playing just for fun in our private lan partys, but near the year 2000, dr34d, Zip and GanGster joined our quakeworld team and we started to practice for real, winning every single League/Tournament in Portugal, and placed 2nd in SmackDown European League season2 ( Crow, dr34d, Zip, GanGster, lhuk, konk ).
2001 Crow and dr34d moved to Quake3Arena where together with scanX and PlAsTiK, placed 2nd @ FragLider q3a Season1.
In 2002, we got the offer to take over some well known Counter-Strike players from Portugal.

They were: Gha0k, TraNce, d0c, giant, reik0 and voiky. As always, there were several moves in our CS Team for the next 2 years, untill in 2004 we decided it was time to have a stable lan team.
In 2004, we had a very promissing team with great expectations to be a top team in Portugal. they were: cookie, Sudden, big, unjusT, HellKnight & b0y. But as always, nothing lasts forever and the team disbanded as some moved to 6th sence Clan and others got inactive for personal reasons.
In 2004/5 defs joined forces with WoG, a Counter-Strike team that had placed top10 in 2004's ESWC. This team lasted for 6 months or so, and it was over when some of their players went inactive. So we had to find ourselfs another team, and the choice was fiziks ( Also top10 in ESWC ).
Defs revolution - 2005/6.
As proReality ( coachi, gax, ToXxXi and QUICK ) and former Lan-Sports players weapoN and Okocha joins forces with defs, we closed most of divisions that joined us trought the years such as CoD2, FM, FIFA, etc. This revolution allowed us to focus on our prime games ( Counter-Strike Team and Unreal Tournament player exter). You can check the Team section for more info.
Defs goes PRO - 2006
defs took a big step by signing a protocol with a Professional Club better known as Académico ( A.C.D.F ), that makes us the Electronic Sports Section of Académico and allows us to sign professional contracts with other companys, sponsors and players.
In defs we trust.
