First Contact report regarding Don'Kavosh
True appearance is unknown. Don'Kavosh only appear in public wearing "encounter suits", when they appear at all, which is rare. The Don'Kavosh , claim to be the original race of the Sirius area making it the oldest known race in the galaxy (the Monkey's on Primus laugh whenever we ask their age, the Robots just stand there...) and are responsible for the creation of the Nomads. (Who were left to maintain the Don'Kavosh Hyper Gate Network and to protect key areas of Don'Kavosh space while they were away to do something that also won't tell us about.)
After time unending (their quote not mine, the Don'Kavosh tend towards the lyrical at times) the Nomads prospered and expanded till eventually bumping

into Rhineland archaeological expedition about 500 years ago exploring an old DK base (leading to the first Nomad war that the Order and Edison Trent participated in, and ending in the reactivating of the Don'Kavosh Hyper Gate Network, blasting the Nomad fleet into null space alerting the Don'Kavosh to something being afoot in the Sirius quadrant.)
First contact with humanity was reportedly in the Omicrons was with a Kusari General en-route to the Freeport 9. His fate remains unknown as the Don'Kavosh continue to decline to comment as to what happened to him. [SF-K] are continuing to investigate, we hope to get an insider report back regarding this matter. The Don'Kavosh major first contact with us was their surprise assistance in pushing back a huge Nomad attack near the Omicron Theta to Omicron Alpha jump hole. The Don'Kavosh were surprised at the aggressive direction the Nomads had seemingly quickly evolved along as the nomads were created as passive caretakers not aggressive soldiers.
The Zoners quickly tried to form an 'understanding' with the Don'Kavosh but they preferred to go and meet humanity in all its forms. Two Don'Kavosh bases are known, one in Omega 3 and the other is reported to be in Omicron Alpha somewhere.
Time does not mean much to the Don'Kavosh and a bemused humor can be detected from them at how humanity looks at it. They perceive reality, time, and space differently than us. They take no interest in the affairs of others declarations regarding 'lawful' and 'criminal' elements (but will respect a systems laws etc within a system, mainly it is assumed to keep the peace and not create human casualties) of Sirius, however they appear to have taken a marked interest in how the Nomad strain and will actively hunt them down for study when they are detected. Don'Kavosh seem to attempt to communicate with the Nomads before engaging them, which has lead to more than one Don'Kavosh ship being destroyed in the process.
There have been some reports of Don'Kavosh utilizing magical 'god-like' powers. There is no evidence to substantiate these claims what so ever. It is this scientist opinion that we are dealing with a race whose technological development spans millions of years more than our own. So their technology may seem magical to us. (for more information please review Zoner Files relating to Dyson Sphere, Don'Kavosh power generator and Don'Kavosh artifacts, kindly 'loaned' to us by the LSF and Order.)
It is interesting to note the Don'Kavosh's transportation of certain elements and raw card. to and from their bases. To date we are unsure of why this is happening and if it is used in a similar fashion to the Outcasts. Our inquiries regarding these cargos are meet with amused silence.

10 COMMANDMENTS OF THE DON'KAVOSH
1. THOU SHALT NOT BREAK THE FORUM OR SERVER RULES. THIS IS THE FIRST AND MOST IMPORTANT LAW. Anyone found doing so will (in all but the most mild cases) be kicked out of the Don’Kavosh without further notice or warning.
2. THOU SHALT ROLE PLAY, FOR ASGARD IS A ROLE PLAY SERVER. The Don’Kavosh are not a trading company, we are not a “PvP based” group, and without the role play element, we really have no reason to exist. This does not mean you can’t trade, or can’t PVP – but if trading and PVPing are the main reason for being in the Don’Kavosh – then there are other factions that would suit you better.
3. THOU SHALT CHECK THE FORUM REGULARLY, FOR OTHERWISE YOU WILL BE DEFICIENT IN KNOWLEDGE. We are supposed to be a technologically advanced culture, and as we all live in different time zones the forum is the only way we can effectively communicate and not look like a group of uninformed morons. Daily is great; just before or after you log into the server is great; at least twice a week is OK; once a week isn’t really enough – and anything less is clearly showing the rest of us that you really couldn’t be bothered - and will eventually result in your being expelled from the DK.
4. THOU ART EXPECTED TO CONTRIBUTE TO THE DON’KAVOSH. Such contributions can be money, weapons, as simple as some mission reports every now and then, or as complex as brokering a peace accord between two formerly hostile factions. We are a team, and anyone who does not contribute in some way is not part of that team. Certain other contributions will be specifically requested from people from time to time – but certainly nothing you are not capable of if you wanted to.
5. THOU ART EXPECTED TO VOTE ON ISSUES CONCERNING THE DON’KAVOSH AS THEY ARISE. Henceforth, all major decisions will be placed up for voting on by the entire faction. Any such voting polls will have a duration of 4 days, not more, and not less – and no votes or comments will be accepted after that date. There will be no quorum, no voting by proxy, just a straight out “highest count wins the day”. There will be an executive committee - currently consisting of Don’Ekos Narton who reserves the right (by unanimous agreement, and only in time critical or faction critical situations) to veto or bypass the voting process if required.
6. THOU ART A PEACEMAKER, MAKE PEACE. We are a peaceful group who seeks to study the Humans, destroy the Nomads, and preserve life where possible (at least the PC version of life – some of those NPC’s just can’t be saved ). Try, where possible, to find a peaceful resolution – not only with those who seek to attack us, but with those humans who seek to attack each other. The logical “ultimate solution” would be to unite all humanity together, eradicate the Nomad scourge, and put the shattered remnants of this system back together again. It will probably never happen – but that’s what we are aiming for.
7. THOU ART A BENEVOLENT BEING, BE GENEROUS. No-one expects you to give 10 million dollars and a full gun loadout to every new freelancer you see – but if you happen to come across someone “sub level 20”, it really wouldn’t hurt to give him/her 200K and maybe some of the “excess” guns you were going to sell anyway. You’d be surprised just how well something as tiny as a spare Asgard Elite Thruster will be received by someone who has yet to get one.
8. THOU ART A WISE BEING, SHARE YOUR WISDOM. Again, there’s no need to furnish every person who asks with a map of where all the wrecks are – but if you see someone who needs a hand finding a decent trade route, or where to purchase a better power plant, or how to get through the Alaska minefield – it costs nothing to help out (and little things like that really make a difference to how you are perceived).
9. THOU ART A PROTECTOR OF LIFE, AND IF YOU CAN’T FIND A PEACEFUL SOLUTION – PROTECT THE WEAK. Use your discretion, but if you see a pirate in a fully armed VHF preying on someone who is Level 21, step in. Conversely, if you see a Lawful in a fully armed VHF preying on a Level 21 Pirate (and you can’t find a peaceful solution of course – usually easier when dealing with Lawfuls), step in. Note that you don’t have to necessarily kill anyone – if you can stop the aggression with a well timed Cruise Disruptor – that’s a much better option. Also – if it’s a “fair fight” between roughly equal opponents, carefully consider the consequences before you go “forcing” a peaceful solution - or you may stop the fight – and create 2 enemies in the process. Also remember – the Level 21 you help survive today may be the guy/girl in the battleship in a few months.
10. THOU MUST HAVE FUN – OTHERWISE WHY THE HECK ARE YOU PLAYING THE GAME!
Faction Relations
Alliance.
The meaning of alliance among the Don’Kavosh is somewhat different than among the humans. By your interpretation, for anyone to be “Allied” with the Don’Kavosh – they would have to become part of the Don’Kavosh. Therefore, we doubt that any Alliances will ever be forged with any other group in Sirius.
Mutual Defensive Pact.
Will not be held any longer. We are neutral and will assist when needing assistance with upholding the peace. If we are under attack you may deal with assisting us as you see fit. We hope for peace and promote for peace.
Non-Aggression Agreement.
We have no aggression to any Asgardians.. We will always up hold this law among our people. If not upheld by a member of the >DK< then punishment will be set forth. If any >DK< are attacked then we will seek a more defensive route.
Ranking System
The Ranking Structure of the Don’Kavosh
The DK don’t really have a ranking system. All DK are the same. We all are respected the same, and we have an equal voice. Although this is true there are several positions to be held in the DK. Some positions have a lot of honor in them. The following message has been roughly translated into the human language.
