Hi proud DraSo members
![]() I welcome you to this topic. Like the subject says: what will be your destiny in Aion? And tell us why. Tell us the MMORPG experience you had and want to be in the new game Aion. Why is this important? Well, don't we want to be giants again? Don't we want to rule again? ![]() Also, if you want to be someone, but never have been even near to it's destiny, ask and we will answer. Thank you Griever for remembering me, a few links to know what class to chose: http://eu.aiononline.com/en/classes http://www.aionsource.com/wiki/Classes Since there isn't that much information, it would only take 5min to look at one class (and 5min is the maximum time u'll need)

I will be in Aion a healer (Cleric), the main healer of the party/raid/whatever-they-call-it. Why? Healing is fun, healing is chill, doing nothing, just casting on the main tank. But then, if there goes something wrong, I get the exiting and fun (and responsibility) if we whipe or not. (Not only me, the tank is as important as the healer. I want to say healer a bit more important but I won't do that
![]() My experience is: *I've been a tank on WoW, I kept my aggro pretty well, I decide most of the time a whipe or not (if my strategy won't work, we fail 100%, if the strategy of the DPS doesn't work, we fail for 10-20%, and healer same then fail 100%). There aren't that many people who love tanking, well I do. For the people who knows a bit of WoW, the heroics in not good armor in WoW did almost work 100%, too bad I had crap armor. So it was basically strategy there, but we made it sometimes ![]() *I've been a mage on WoW too, DPSing isn't the only thing important on a (WoW) mage. If I didn't cc (croud control, making the mob doing nothing) in time, 50-100% chance on whipe. DPSing is easy, I would like to say it's fun but it's not that fun, you always cast the same spell on the mob/boss. *I've been a healer on WoW (yes I played WoW A LOT). But not an experienced one. But there I saw it was awesome to be a healer. If the tank is GOOD, and the DPS is GOOD too, then the healer can sleep if he/she wants. On Guild Wars I've been a bit of everything, but mostly DPS: ranged, spell and melee. I have seen a bit of everything, or a bit much of 2 destiny's, and a bit on 1 destiny. It is all based on strategy!!! Play a class, and know it's spells, know it even better as to spell your own name. Gz Odin

I'll probably play templar in Aion.
A tank, but with great power awaiting.. for when the opponent shows a weak moment.. Not only raw defence, and potentialy great damage.. Also Strategy involves being a templar, as they need to buff and heal wherever they can.. Also, as a DraSo I allways had the need to protect my fellow members.. So I think I could say, a templar should fit my need to be : 'The Dragon Soul's Shield' My experience : Ive probably always have been the greatest seeker of DMG/H Id like to do as much damage in the least possible time.. So more of a brute power DPS.. Id like to go for something more strategic this time around, as I want to be a great part of the Party experience.. Something.. U all can rely on.. In lineage 2, I most probably played warrior / gladiator / duelist on allmost every server.. Also mages touched my sence of curiousity, for there weakening and canceling spells.. Also.. Magic spells often look WAY cooler!! I'm really curious on how many info everyone has looked up.. since classes are very important to our future strategy and gameplay.. Grtz.. Griever |
