I just popped into the Nuke server tonight not realizing what had happened or anything about LH32. This is terrible.

Hadn't seen her around in a while but her departure from the servers a few months ago (I assumed because she was too busy with a new job) was one of the reasons I started playing less. She was maybe my favorite because of her sense of humor and we could talk a little hockey too.

Worse still I was going to message her a few weeks ago to see how she was doing. Maybe she never would've seen it or it wouldn't have mattered, but now I got that thought stuck in my head. Like maybe someone who is bad shape, they get a message and realize someone out there is thinking of them. Maybe events change or something. Fuck.


RIP, L. I hope your spirit is unburdened now and in a better place. Thanks to you guys who were in touch with her family closer to the event and sent flowers, etc. Class moves and the right thing to do.

Just wish I could talk to her one more time. Was looking forward to razzing her about the Dallas Stars at the draft, to see how her job was going. I wonder if something bad happened there. Sometimes the financial stress of losing a job or whatnot. Nothing is easy these days. Everything gets more expensive all the time, etc.

Wish we'd lived closer, could've taken her out for a beer and maybe cheered her up or something. I dunno... just rambling now. Life is cruel sometimes. Doesn't make sense.
