First, be prepared to get kicked/banned for wallhacking a lot more.

Get these headphones: http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_ss?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=hd555&x=0&y=0

I got mine for ~$80.

Next, get this sound card: http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_ss?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=creative+xfi+xtremegamer&x=0&y=0

Don't get the PCI-E fata1ity version. The PCI version is better.

I got mine for ~$70.

In your Creative Console Launcher, use these settings:

Mode: Game
Volume: Max
X-Fi CMSS 3D Headphone: On
MacroFX: On
ElevationFilter: On
X-Fi Crystalizer: On @ 50%
Enable EQ: EQ Flat
Enable SVM
Enable EAX Effects @ 0db

UO Sound Settings:
Sound Quality: 44khz
Mode: Miles 2D Positional Audio

Enjoy knowing where everyone is. Most people don't think about it, or realize it, but good sound is probably the most important thing when gaming.

Awesome man, we appreciate the info. The link for the sound card comes up "no product found" though, if you could edit and change the link to another page displaying the product we would appreciate it.

I tried, but the BB code on this forum doesn't parse correctly. Just select it, and copy/paste it in the address bar of your browser.

I use the Fata1ty edition hsc1000 usb headset. It's got built in x-fi sound...totally awesome, and the mic is sick crisp. No distortion. Ebay it, you'll find one pretty cheap I'm sure, they're over 1-2 years old now.

I'm using the X-FI Fatat1ty Xtreme Gamer Edition edition sound card, with X540 surround sound......ITS AMAZING!!!

The base is incredible, i have to have it at %50 percent otherwise every time a nade or arty goes off i jump like 10 feet.
