![]() The collection of ideals here are strictly for the purpose of improving the quality of Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory. They do not represent, and are in no way affiliated to Gray Matter. ENEMY TERRITORY COMPETITIVE ETC is a project designed to make incentives for playing Enemy Territory. These incentives include, but are not limited to; cash prizes and in-game honors. The prizes are earned through various events such as tournaments, and simply random drawings. ![]() TOURNAMENT & NEW GAME TYPES During planning there has been new game types that have been suggested. The following list includes all of these game types. Note that all of these ideas will soon be pending copyright! Titans: The game of Titans is a free for all, players will spawn randomly across the map. What sets Titans apart from other free for all games is that one player spawns as a "Titan" Titans are players that are much stronger than all other players, and can easily take out other players. Titans will lose their status of a Titan immediately after being killed, the status of Titan will then transfer to the player who killed the Titan. Other notes & rules: 1.Titans can not heal with medic packs, and only heal by killing other players. 2.Titans will slowly lose HP, just like being poisoned. 3.Titans will be obvious to other players because of their appearance. 4.New Titans will be announced to all players. 5.The game will end will a certain score has been reached. Capture the Flag: We didn't feel like we needed to put anything here. Other notes & rules: 1.Players may not use adrenaline while carrying the flag. VIP! Team Game: The VIP! Team Game is a death match, in which the last team with a living VIP wins. The VIP is a randomly selected player who must be protected in order to win the game. If your VIP is killed, you lose the game. Other notes & rules: 1.The VIP receives no special abilities for being the VIP. 2.The VIP is usually the player who received the most kills the game before, he is randomly selected first game. Slaughterhouse: The game of no return! All players work together to fight NPC monsters from previous RTCW, the NPCs come in waves, and progressively grow stronger. The field is littered with ammo and health. After the last man is killed the game is over! Other notes & rules: 1.Players may change class every 10 levels. 2.Players who are killed will spawn again at the end of every 10 levels. ![]() Quest/Mission: This mode will give players the opportunity to work together as a team to complete an objective, the players will battle through NPCs to complete objectives such as retrieving documents, escorting prisoners, etc... Other notes & rules: 1.Players may not revive, however their bodies are extremely resilient, and can sustain being down and injured for long periods of time. Thus making it easier for a medic to heal them. 2.Players may not change classes, however are not limited as to which gun they may use.

Duel:
This game is a 1v1 battle of pure skill. The player will is victorious each round will move on to duel the next player. Players can win by accumulating a set number of points, or if the option is activated; win by achieving "Domination" A Domination is when one player defeats all other players in a competitive match. A competitive match is strictly an ETC sponsored tournament. Other notes & rules: 1.Only the medic class will be available to players. 2.Players will only spawn with the MP40, and will have an unlimited amount of ammo. HONOR STATUS Played will be recognized and honored for outstanding achievements, players whom win duel tournaments will receive the title of "God of the Arena" Other honors are available for accomplishing certain feats. These honors can come with certain cash prizes, or subscription time as well. FUNDING Funding involving Enemy Territory will be strictly donations, for other services. Such as being part of The Squad Control Project, will have annual fees. The ability of ETC to provide to it's players will lie in the hands of the players themselves, they're willingness to participate and support ETC will judge it's performance as a whole. In order to afford servers, clan servers will be invited to join ETC. The only requirement is that they run one of the specific game types, and keep a high level ETC adviser in touch. This we'll ensure that all benefits of ETC will reach that server and it's players. THE HIERARCHY The ETC will consist of a vast and extensive hierarchy. Hundreds of ranks will be available to players, this will allow players to be recognized for outstanding achievements. Even if the rank does not come with anything but honor. For example; a player who wins in the "Tournament of Titans" will not only be enshrined as a Titan, but will receive the rank of Titan on all Titan based servers. The player will also be allowed to place *T in their name which symbolizes his/her reward. This will allow the player to be recognized for their achievements, players whom falsely place awards will be punished. The hierarchy will be strictly volunteers, and if at any moment a hierarchy receives payment for their services it will put ETC as a whole in jeopardy. However some may be employed to provide services not directly related to Enemy Territory, such as programmers or site managers. Clan servers that participate in ETC do not lose any privileges of their server, and still remain their own clan. ETC is not clan, but a grouping of clans in order to better increase the performance of the game.

CLAN WAR/SCRIM WAR MISSION
We plan to focus on improving the quality and amount of clan/scrim wars. Personally we plan to offer practice servers in which a scrim team with rent the server for a specific 2 hours of the day. Scrim teams will enter into tournaments with, what we hope to be, the best in the world. This will make the incentive to play competitively much more appeasing due to it's availability. Scrim teams who participate in tournaments will have the privilege of participating in the development of Squad Control, a system that will bring team work to a whole new level. ETC Sponsors are users that sponsor another player in premium or elite tournaments, sponsors must pay an annual fee to become a sponsor, and in return receive their specified amount of reward money. Sponsors also receive special ranks and honors, and personally have the ability to enter in all premium events. Sponsors will be permanently enshrined on the ETC website for their willing to help the community grow. SERVERS It is our mission at ETC to provide a high quality server for every need, these servers will run strictly on donations. Unless a contract is signed with Gray Matter, we can not do it any other way. ETC will invite any server to join ETC simply for the benefit of receiving special ranks, game types, and other serves. Servers will be able to keep their clan name and clan, but will simply run with a ETC adviser, so that tournaments and events may be set up via that server.(also addressed in hierarchy section.) GOING PREMIUM If we were so ever given permission by contract, we would sell a premium service in which players could bet money in pools for tournaments, pay a monthly fee to compete in premium tournaments with bigger prizes, and receive other benefits they would otherwise not receive. COMPLETING THE PROJECT The ability to complete the project will lie strictly in the hands of the willingness of other players, the more momentum, the bigger and better it can easily become. With talented programmers and designers, we could easily bring Enemy Territory to a new heights of gaming. CONTACTING You can e-mail ideas and questions to ndwhite@live.com, we are actively looking for programmers! OTHER FEATURES? We hope to adjust Enemy Territory in a few ways we feel will make the game better, these adjustments will be put into specific servers in order to best please the gaming community. We are looking at features such as melee attacks, better recoil systems, and the ability to use vehicles. Most ideas are however premature, and little initiative has been made, so please go on and take it! We only ask that you give credit to where it is due.

SQUAD CONTROL
Squad Control is a project focused on improving the performance and usefulness of the already built in Enemy Territory Squad System (ETSS). The project focuses on, but is not limited to; focused classifications, mini-map mods, and a squad commander prompt. The squad commander prompt will allow squad leaders to give specified commands to their squad in order to bring team work to an extreme quality. Focused classifications will put the already set classes into more specified groups, for example:A medic, may also be a CT, or combat titan, who focuses strictly on combat, or may also be a field medic. A field medic focuses more on maintaining squad health. This classification allows squads to run at peak performance, all resources will be available to maintain a sturdy force. Mini-map mods will allow squad leaders to set specific paths in order to allow the squad to move swiftly and effectively as a whole. Thus putting the squad one step ahead of the action. ETC will offer a training course in Squad Control in order to more easily spread the idea of squad based play. Used correctly, Squad Control will allow players to easily overcome teams less prepared in this manner. The training course will be conducted on a private server, and your positions must be pre-registered in order to participate. The course is simply a means of triggering a movement to implement the usage of squads, and most of the creativity will come from the players mine alone.
