![]() UTComp has been loaded, mainly for the hitsounds, bright skins and fancy scoreboard. However, currently it's incompatible with the ONSPlus (ONSPlus button in menu disappeared, colored dots for vehicles don't change anymore when the vehicle is taken, you can't spawn at selected node after being killed, some keybinds don't work - AVRiL?; I've already asked Shambler for help). Let me know about the other problems, I'm still not sure whether to keep it or not. If you can't open the UTComp menu, put the F5=MyMenu into your User.ini or bind it to different key or just press Tab and type mymenu while ingame. Edit: The above issues have been fixed.

Hi,
you can turn Hitsounds off in the UTComp menu if you don't like them. |

The mutator is nice, but i don't think we need it on the server.
Some reasons: - the new scoreboard (i know, it can be disabled) is fitted to only 16 players (or somethin' like that) and to deathmatch/TAM gametypes. In ONS we don't matter about our numbers of deaths. -on our server our aim is to give the best onslaught experience to the players, and the ONSplus is an important part of it. Without it... it's bad. Random spawn is really annoying, lack of vehicules dots too. And instead of this we have the nice color names, which are useless... Although this mutator has good things like the hitsounds (it fills me of pleasure when i give an headshot ![]() as long as you cannot combine it with the ONSplus, i vote for remove it from the server. The UTComp has been combined with ONSPlus (we're running custom ONSPlus with permission from the author).

I guess I should say more about whole UTComp idea and Izumo. Since the good old times when we were the only European server running the modern onslaught are gone and our competitors (1 & 2) inspired by our success started up similar servers, we should be even better than they are and provide the players everything they might want, including the popular tweaks which are however practically incompatible with onslaught or a whitelisted server.
The UTComp was exactly what I wanted, but I had no clue how to integrate it to TechCom while keeping the other addons fully functional and the server decorated with a green dot. That's why I've asked Izumo (after VK's attention), currently maintaining the LDG servers, for help and to join us as tech consultant. With Shambler's permission he tuned up the ONSPlus to be fully compatible with UTComp, tweaked the original UTComp for our needs and compilance with other addons like LinkMe mutator and done even more. Regarding the UTComp settings, the only enabled enhancing features are the Brightskins (UTComp Style), Hitsounds and WeaponStats on scoreboard. Color messages, nicks, automatic demo recording or screenshot taking and crosshair tunning are also available. For help with your client settings check out the section 2.1 of the UTComp readme.

- Fixed hitsound not playing when inside a vehicle when in behind view and disabled stats.
- Fixed scoreboard text size Regarding scoreboard: Yes, stats will overlap with the scoreboard when there are many players. If you find that annoying then disable the stats. |

I noticed that the server is going laggy when the match is long and there are many players. The pings are increasing gradually, but there is no packet loss. At the beginning of new match is everything fine again. What do you mean, what is wrong and why?
