Its fine now, but i am getting bored of playing the same maps all over again, so if the vote limit was set to 1, i never have a chance playing NV-maps, mostly tanks. I request new map(s). And i did before.

thing is, we have the ReMatch-thingy AND a new limit for it at 10mins... that means some maps are player for more than 30minutes (in case first round ends in 9:30mins and 2nd goes to overtime) for easier math i'll go with 30mins, that makes a "best" case scenario (or for others worst case) of 15 hours (!) of the day before the map is played again. unfortunately we really have a lot of )o(-maps but it's not like they have a large share of all the maps. i can even prove that - just take a look at the pie chart on the techcom-mainpage (not freelancer page) --> currently 84% of the maps are NOT the spammy ones, that's still pretty good. personally, i like the NV maps the best (except halo maybe) and i think you share that thought. they provide the biggest possibilites for guerilla action and are most likely skill-requiring. often, just lookin forward one of the good maps (maelstrom-nv, bridge, katharos-nv) is going to be votable soon keeps me online ^^ @mawa noooeess... we won't do that! takes no 60minutes till you realize you are wrong here... my worst case szenario (which equals crushas example somewhat): Minus-TMU is voted where basically everyone is able to get a tank or badger... it is played, some leave because they hate it and like 24 ppl stay. in the end, 5ppl want to play another map but are obviously the minority. so Minus-TMU is voted again and they leave. there might be only 1 map played for HOURS! that must not happen. ever. period. btw mawa it's not 40 anymore - it's already 30! and like i said that's the best compromise between ppl like crusha and me who are fine with 40 or more and ppl like you and others who want it as low as possible. ![]() |

Here is the current maplist. Maps with Uber-vehicles are highlighted red. Spammy maps are maroon. EONS-maps are yellow. NV-maps (or maps that have a lot more action on foot than in vehicles) are green. Hardcore-Oldschool-Classic-style maps (hard groundfights with many comebacks; you get the feeling that it's pretty hard to win that map) are gray.

Some grey should be white and vice versa. WinterCombat has only standard vehicles, the same about HomeSweetHome (except Tarantulas, but I'm not sure), Pyroclastic and Tyrant (except 2 badgers).

Back to 40, some maps are getting hugely overplayed and many fine maps are starving for whole week. There is lack of variery without high repeat limit.

I agree with vk, the re-vote at 40 is better for don't play again and again the same maps... (minus for exemple).
But some new maps will be the welcome in tech com. The other day i played ONS-Redbluff and it's a funny map. And, why do you think of mute some CTF maps (like bridge was mute) on ONS (NV) maps? |
