Beta 9 was the best imo, but the map is still great, the middle node, no, please. But please put the map back online without middle node. It it still one of the better maps!

Agree with VK, ONS-Rail is very good map, but last node setup is unplayable.

I would suggest to put the middle node down, and put around it walls so it cannot be shooted without going to it. It really sucks how it is now, because when somebody respawns, he just need to pick weapons and immediatelly can shoot at that node. Its impossible to build it.

Post your link setup ideas. Here is mine to spread the match on whole map:



2-3, 4-5, 1-6, 1-7, 1-8, 1-9.

Maybe 1-7, 1-8 can be disabled or 1-6, 1-9.

I also thought about putting many different setups in the next release, including one that deactivates 1 but adds a new node on the roof between 3-7 and 5-9.

I just need an idea how to get a linksetup with that nodes then.
Maybe make it:



Or connect 10 to 6 or 7 instead of the core…
Or to both, 6 and 7. That would make it easier to get it back and would also allow to completely cut the enemy line.

i like foibos' setup, but instead of 7-1/6-1/8-1/9-1 i would link 7-8 OR 6-9 (not both) so that the match is not concentrated in the middle of the map for the whole game but some kamikaze fighters could directly attack the primary node and get the enemy core down for some seconds (as it can be done on masterbath for example!)
this way we would have a decent density of players all over the map =)

If you connect 7-8 or 6-9 directly, it could be quite hard to keep your primary node up, if the enemy's linked node is so far from it and the enemy is spawning nearby. Crusha's idea on that picture is nice, but we'll first try custom link setups on beta12.

Do you still expect people to plan where they attack next, or to just shoot everything in their FOV? O_o

Better than before, but the map still sucks. You can't get the nodes back and you can't even hold them! Uncovered nodes is the problem - 2, 3, 4, 5 should be more hidden in buildings, behind boxes or something (watch the Bridge). And adding new nodes as you mentioned could help also.
