UCMP has probably the most stupid link setup ever, if you lose the second node, you need to destroy 3 (enemy) nodes to secure it. Both mentioned CBP2 have quite silly weaponlockers and the link setups don't rock too. You found a new God? CBP2? You don't see the mistakes, if the maps have been created by guys who probably had no clue about optimising the map for intensive online gameplay with heavy load of players? Nah, we should touch them or they'll die (ehm, they already did).

It's not like you couldn't change the linksetup serverside without editing the map.

Found a nice site for new maps and so I checked them out. Most of them were not suitable for 32 players, but this one is really good:
http://www.map-factory.org/ut-2004/onslaught/ons-iguazu-845 The one with the best ratings, btw. ![]() It has a very nice gameplay along the Z-axis and I think it won't hurt to have it on the server. It's something special. ![]() |

This map is also on ceons ...
