I remember when last year the ONS maps and other resources such as the music packs that we used on the server were available to download on http here (link's dead now), as well as several other files in related subdirs. That imples, that parallel to being provided game server running services by the TechCom.cz host, Foibos and/or Jendrys had (and I'm guessing they still do) some FTP space available as part of their account too.

What I've been wondering is, are there other features that are part of the account that have been unused so far, but could potentially be helpful now, such as MySQL and php services? If such options are available, the possibility to start a better msg board using software that doesn't require a paid licence (SMF for example) is just one of the things that could help improve and expand our ONS community. That would represent a major step up to something better and more open than the small and feature-limited place we have here based on an invite-only "clan" that had to be created first (and only 15 ppl have access to) so that dozens more ppl from other still active similar communities (Titans, Omni, etc.) could sign up and speak their minds about TechCom.cz ONS server matters as well. Well, it's just a hope at this point, but ever since it first got in my mind, the prospect just seems too cool to give up !

Foibo, can you plz tell us what all is offered with the current account?

I was searching for the easiest way how to start the forum and the GT offer was near at hand. There is lot of space on TechCom servers, but not enought time to start some full-featured message board. You can see the redirect server folders and files no more, because the listing is disabled to prevent some unwanted access to our stuff (backups, beta maps, porn) that is placed there too. Btw, every registrated GT user can use the forum here, not only the members, see the Monika's posts.
