I see many multiplayer servers that are active at first and then quickly “die”. In your opinion, what helps a server maintain a long-term community?

Is it a friendly admin, regular events, quality mods, or simply the vibe of the players?

If you have ever successfully managed or participated in a server, please share your experiences or tips to help keep players.
