Yo tank, which game are you trying to play, if it's call of duty 4, then you must use no updates on your pc, most servers are running version of COD. Moosed has 1 server for v 1.6 running killhouse. hope this helps.

yeah i'm running 1.7 I believe yeah thats helps. do you know why Moosed runs the server like that ? just curious why i hope to see you guys soon i will disable my updates for call of duty 4 and try again..

HE DOES IT SO THE SERVERS STAY FULL AND MORE FUN TO PLAY, HE WILL ALWAYS BE RUNNING MOSTLY 1.2, WITH 1 OR 2 UPDATED. THE UPDATED ONES ARE STILL RUNNING 1.6 AT THIS POINT.

so if i just uninstall cod 4 and reinstall and disable the auto updates i will be fine

hey Tank, as TO was saying, theres too many servers and not enuf players in v1.7.

in v1.2 there's usually fewer than 1,000 servers running at any given time and there's always more than enuf players to fill up our servers. that's why i have seven v1.2 servers and one 1.7 server.

it's a lot more fun playing in full servers with 30 or 40 other players in v1.2 than it is waiting hours for other players to join in v1.7.
