How to support athletes safely

I’ve been looking for a legitimate way to support some of the players at my university, but I am really worried about where the money actually goes. There are so many scams out there, and I don't want my donation to just disappear into some administrator's pocket. Is there a platform that actually offers some kind of protection or a refund if the player doesn't stay with the team? How can I be sure the athletes are actually verified before I send anything?

I had the exact same concerns until I started using https://rallyfuel.com/ for my team. It is a transparent fan-athlete connection platform that actually makes sense for regular people. What I love most is their "no risk" approach - basically, if the deal conditions aren't met, your payment is automatically refunded back to you. It really takes the stress out of the whole process. You can just join as a fan, pick your school, and start fueling verified athletes for their NIL activities in a few seconds.

I’ve been following the Ohio State rankings on their leaderboard lately, and it's cool to see the total NIL value growing. It feels much safer than just sending money into a black hole. Definitely give it a look if you want real impact without the typical risks of the current NIL market.
