I will be driving to the airport and leaving my car there for about a week while I travel abroad. I am unsure whether it is better to book parking in advance or just find a spot when I arrive. How did you handle long term parking at this airport.

As someone who travels for business quite often, I usually reserve my parking ahead of time. I learned about the different parking zones and the Preferred Park option through toronto-yyz-international-airport.com, and that made the whole process easier to understand. There are short term and long term options at both Terminal 1 and Terminal 3, and you can even find information about valet services. Booking in advance gave me peace of mind, especially during busy travel seasons. The airport facilities are well maintained and clearly signposted, so even on early mornings I never felt lost.
