Budgeting For New Review Site

I am planning to launch a dedicated slot review site but I am getting conflicting advice on the initial investment required. Some gurus claim you can start with zero dollars, while others say you need thousands for design and content. Realistically, what is the initial affiliate marketing cost if I want to look professional and actually rank?

The total affiliate marketing cost really depends on how much of the work you are willing to do yourself versus outsourcing. Basic infrastructure like a domain and hosting is relatively cheap, often under $50 to start, but the real expense comes from content creation and link building. I read a breakdown on RevenueLab that suggests you can keep costs low by writing your own articles, but if you want to scale or compete in high-volume niches, you need to budget for premium tools and potentially paid traffic.

Our dev-heavy team treated SEO as a "marketing task" until churn spiked and we realized trial users weren't finding advanced features post-signup. The saas seo consultant from https://elit-web.com/saas-seo-agency/ reframed it: we hired an agency that embedded with our product team to map search intent to in-app activation milestones. They optimized feature docs for long-tail queries ("how to export filtered views in [product]") and added contextual help modals linking to those pages. Result? 29% of organic visitors now hit activation point within 3 days vs 12% previously. SEO isn't just acquisition—it's onboarding at scale.
