Few things whet a nerd’s palette quite like rumors, leaks and concept art. Today we have the latter of that pack, and it’s totally real and official. We have the first piece of genuine concept art for Star Wars: Battlefront.

The exclusive piece of artwork comes to us by way of IGN. They obviously received it directly from DICE and EA. The scene comes from the forest moon of Endor. Two rebels hide behind a tree as Stormtroopers and two AT-STs lurk in the background. One of the AT-STs has been destroyed, I assume by two logs swinging in from a tree.

Star Wars: Battlefront does not have a precise release date. It’s supposedly set to drop this holiday, but the sheer lack of visuals and gameplay from the title make that a kind of tough window to accept. When it does release, it’s doing so on the PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One platforms.

Stay tuned for more.
