I was having a problem running COD4 Multiplayer on Windows 7. It would error out saying "iw3mp.exe has encountered an error". After searching I found that this is common on Windows 7. To fix this you need to do the following:
•Go to Start then Control Panel •Double click on the Sound Tool •Click on the Recording tab •Right click and select "View Disabled Devices" •Enable the Stereo Mix (right-click on Stereo Mix then select enable) |
