So after a little testing on an almost empty server, here are the overall results. Please read the whole post before asking questions or commenting. I'm pretty rude when it comes to not answering things that are already in the post unless it's something I missed or could have represented better.
Here's the system. Still have a rad to add , some more case modding, and a few other items including the fun stuff like lighting and such. The desk / monitor / KB / mouse setup is in my sig rig if you wanna know more about it for reference. It's accurate up till this posting date. Systems Specs Windows 8 Pro - UEFI i7 3820 @ 4.6Ghz 16GB Corsair Dominator @ 2133 Asus GTX 670 4GB 3-Way SLI Asus Rampage Formula IV Corsair Force 120 - Single OS OCZ Vertex 2 - Games - RAID0 WD Green 3TB - Storage EVGA G2 1000W PSU Water EK Supremacy - Nickel EK GeForce 670 GTX DCII - Nickel EK EKoolant Swiftech MCP655-PWM 12v Swiftech MCR420-QP Rad Cougar Fans GPU Usage With AA maxed out GPU1 Max: 99% GPU2 Max: 99% GPU3 Max: 99% Normal settings (no AA) GPU1 Max: 93% GPU2 Max: 90% GPU3 Max: 91% Temperatures (I am still building this system and waiting on another 420 rad, so these are horrible ATM. These high's only came into play when AA was turned all the way up) CPU Max: 70C Package (never has this system allowed this kind of temp under water... WOW!! BF4 AA is NASTY on a CPU!!!) GPU1 Max: 58C GPU2 Max: 56C GPU3 Max: 57C Normal settings (noAA) CPU Max: ~63C Package GPU1 Max: ~53C GPU2 Max: ~50C GPU3 Max: ~52C VRAM Utilization @ 2500+ HBAO @ 2200+ SSAO I averaged around 60-75 FPS solid, with frame rate boosts of up to 100+. It didn't matter weather there were 6 or 60 players, the frame rate was not affected outside of the occasional lag stutter of the game itself. I get that stuttering with BF3 now and then too, but of course the beta is pretty nasty sometimes depending on the server connection. Also with the the below settings and AA Post and Deferred turned off, the difference between HBAO and SSAO was not noticable in the frame rate. However, I like the look and feel of the HBAO a lot more. The realism is about as nice as it gets in any PC game so far. It certainly challenges Crysis 3 in this area as well IMO. C3 looks a little cartoonish some areas throughout the game... obviously due to the subject matter of course. Battlefield 4 video settings •Fullscreen Monitor: 1 •Fullscreen Resolution: 5760x1920 @144Hz •Fullscreen Mode: Fullscreen •Brightness: 50% •Vertical Sync: On •Field of View: 90 •Motion Blur Amount: 50% •Weapon DOF: On •Colorblind: Off •HUD Size: 60% •Resolution Scale: 100% •Graphics Quality: Custom •Texture Quality: Ultra •Texture Filtering: High •Lighting Quality: High •Effects Quality: High •Post Process Quality: High •Mesh Quality: High •Terrain Quality: High •Terrain Decoration: High •Antialiasing Deferred: Off •Antialiasing Post: Off •Ambient Occlusion: HBAO and SSAO Next up is these settings with AAD and AAP turned on with the rest of the settings the same... just for fun!! AAD x2 / AAP Low = 53-66 FPS (If i look up at the sky, frames fly up top 120+) AAD x4 / AAP Med = 40-57 FPS (I hit 60+ now an then, but rarely) AAD x / AAP High = 35-50 FPS (I noticed that being on rooftops must render a lot less because the frames are higher. No wonder those snipers are so fast sometimes!)
