Forum Rules
Please read over the following before you post. Following these simple rules will ensure a long and enjoyable stay on our boards.

- Spam
Excessively spamming the boards will not be tolerated. Warning and bans will result from this activity. Constantly posting topics in all caps counts as spam, as well as annoying other members needlessly.

- Sexual Themes
If you are caught with any images of sex you will be given a warning, and the image will be deleted. The same applies to links.

- Racism
Statements relating to racism are permitted to be made as part of discussions, but we do not condone statements like "All xxxx's are xxxx". Depending on the seriousness of the statement you will be met with a warning or a ban.

- Profanity
Swearing is allowed on these forums as long as you do not use it to aggressively insult others.

- Advertising
Advertising in the public area of these forums is prohibited without the express prior approval of the Administrators. This includes commercial interests and recruiting for other clans. If you do have a website (relating to you, your clan etc) you should feel free to place it in your signature, however.

- Attitudes
Treat others and their opinions with respect. If you continually criticise others (especially with no contrary argument) you will initially be warned and eventually be banned.

- Members
If any of you have any issues with other members, we ask that you either discuss this with the admins by PM or e-mail. Posts of this nature will be deleted and you will be either warned or banned.

- Off-topic posts
Try to stick to the topic of the post in question. Deliberate attempts to hijack a thread will be deleted and a warning/ban will result.

- Avatars/Signatures
You can have any avatar and signature you wish, as long as it does not contravene any of the other rules (notably racism/pornography). Some size restrictions apply.
Please limit the width of your signature so it does not warp the forum pages too much.

If there is a problem with your avatar/signature it will be changed. Changing it back will result in a warning/ban.

- Copyright Material
You agree that no material you post or use here is copyrighted. Quotes taken from other sources must be properly referenced. As the poster you are liable for seeking the necessary permission to use it or the penalties if applicable. The board and its administrators are in no way responsible for any breach you make regarding copyright material.

Furthermore, we do not permit the posting of topics which encourage, promote or condone software piracy (or other crimes for that matter). Links to torrents and downloads of copyrighted materials will be removed.

- Banning
You agree that you can be banned at any time without prior warning. We always have reasons for banning. If you try to re-register you will probably be banned again.

- Further Help & Contact
If you need to know any further information about anything else, try contacting an Admin or staff member. The fastest way for us to get back to you would be via PM or e-mail.

- Disclaimers and Further Rules
While the administrators and moderators of this forum will attempt to remove or edit any generally objectionable material as quickly as possible, it is impossible to review every message. Therefore you acknowledge that all posts made to these forums express the views and opinions of the author and not the administrators, moderators or webmaster (except for posts by these people) and hence will not be held liable.

You agree not to post any abusive, obscene, vulgar, slanderous, hateful, threatening, sexually-oriented or any other material that may violate any applicable laws. Doing so may lead to you being immediately and permanently banned (and your service provider being informed). The IP address of all posts is recorded to aid in enforcing these conditions. You agree that the webmaster, administrator and moderators of this forum have the right to remove, edit, move or close any topic at any time should they see fit. As a user you agree to any information you have entered above being stored in a database. While this information will not be disclosed to any third party without your consent the webmaster, administrator and moderators cannot be held responsible for any hacking attempt that may lead to the data being compromised.
