Got the Motherboard, the fans and the case all wired. The Asus manual was fairly good on the wiring.
![]() I still need to reroute one of the fan wires with an extension but the rest of the wiring is behind the motherboard. I'm going to wait to bundle it until I have everything working. Time to order the drive, Optical drive and GPU so I can finish the assembly. Can't wait to fire this puppy up. Sailus |

Yep. Looks great Sailus.
It's going to be a few more weeks before I upgrade mine. I just got the case. It's the HAF 922 by Cooler Master. Probably going to go with the Asus pro D-E. And I5 750. I'm probably going to keep my 8800's gt alpha dog's. in a sli config. |

Putting together the final order tonight. Asus5870(1GB GDDR3)/6GB Corsair Dominator DDR3 1600. For now, a 7200rpm HD. SSD will probably go in later. I thinking about puting a couple of smaller ones together in a raid 0 configuration but I have to read more when I have time.
Cuz, you'll love the HAF case. Everything is where it should be. I haven't had to drill any holes and only need one fan 3pin extension to have everything wired through the back. It has enough room to park your car in there. I like the idea of dual GPU's. Your 8800s are a great combination. I want to eventually have dual cards in crossfire. For now I'll stick to a single 5870. As soon as I get an extra $400, i'll put its sister in there. After looking at a lot of cards I decided to go Asus for two reasons. First, I have an Asus board. Second, the Asus has GDDR memory and comes 30% overclocked from the factory. If the parts get here by Friday, I should have everything together by mid-day Saturday. With any luck, I'll be gaming again by the weekend. Sailus UPDATE: PARTS ARE ORDERED!! ORDER CONFIRMED AND EVERYTHING IS IN STOCK. If NewEgg ships from its Elizabeth, New Jersey warehouse, I could have the parts tomorrow. Couldn't squeeze enough for the extra GPU yet. Maybe if I sold some blood or something? UPDATE: DAM! Order says shipping from California. Hope it gets here by the end of the week. SHIPPED!! On its way. Shipped on the 14th but scheduled delivery on the 19th? It better be here by the 16th biches ... Left Ontario California, on its way to Philadelphia. Still a chance it gets here tomorrow. Arrived in Philadelphia at 11:35. Should go to New Jersey overnight and may be on the truck tomorrow. If not, maybe I can go to UPS and pick it up. Would love to get this done tomorrow night. Friday: listed as "out for delivery" - should be here today.

I just got a 26 inch lcd-tv. I have been playing BC2 pretty well. I did have to tone down the resolution a bit. When I ran movies I a multicolored bar at the right hand side of my screen showed up. I thought it may have been the media player. I was using at first but after testing both WMP and MPC I got the same thing.
The first thing that got my attention about the haf was all of the fans. I need to keep my stuff cool. Specially here in Florida during the summer. After reading the reviews on it I decided to go with it. I was just putting together a new desk and messes up a part. Luckily I was able to get the part. The bad thing is that it's going to delay my ordering of my MOBO and Processor. Going to step it up a notch with the MOBO. Instead of the Asus D-E. I'm going with the Asus D-E pro. Haven't looked at the memory yet. "After looking at a lot of cards I decided to go Asus for two reasons. First, I have an Asus board.
