Nvidia and ATI both had issues with Vista.

If you haven't done so already the only real solution is to:

Download current drivers.

Remove any nvidia drivers and software, do not try to upgrade drivers.

Remove the video card from the device manager.

Reboot, do not let Vista install a driver.

Install the latest video drivers you downloaded earlier.

If that doesn't work turn off UAC.

If that doesn't work your pretty much screwed.

Hey blind . . . been skimming through the web sites you sent me. The extreme air cooled site is amazing. The ATI 9800 card with the multiple heat sinks looks really extreme.

It looks like you can get a reasonable overclock with air cooling, espically if you add heat sinks.

I'm not sure which build your looking at... the ATI 9800 is an older card... maybe the nvidia 9800?

Looks like the Coolermaster HAF 932 is the case i'm gonna buy. At $149 it is half the price of a lian li. Its reviews are great. The lian li had some negative reviews - mainly for crappy customer service.

Comments?

Looks good to me, I mainly like the lian li bacause I like the way they look and am willing to deal with their quirkyness.

This case is nice and deep, over 21", so there is plenty of room to route cables and work on without cutting your hands to shreds.

Look how much room there is between the MOBO and the drive bays in this picture.

Jesus Blind - you could park a truck in there.

Yea Hooligan, the 3 230's were a big factor.
