Loading Windows 7 as we speak. I was amazed that it just fired right up.

Once I get Windows loaded, I will start to clean up the wiring. I can't wait to load some games and run some benchmarks.

I'm writing this using the new tower. With the basic driver updates and all oc'ing turned off, I'm getting just under 20k 3Dmark06 in native resolution (1920 x 1080). When I have some time, I'll start OC'ing the ram, card and CPU and see what she will do. I'm happy so far.

If anybody ever doubted the benifit of an SSD, Windows experience scores are: processor 7.6, GPU 7.8 and HD (7200 rpm) transfer rate = 5.9. An SSD will probably up the total score into the 7.x range.

Loading BC2 now to see the diffrence. LOL wires are still hanging out of the back. Have to tie them up before I start playing.

So glad this is done. Scary at times. : )

Here's the I7-930 and the Corsair 6GB installed. The RAM looks awesome.

Here's the fully assembled tower. The 5870 is huge.

I'll get some more detailed pics tomorrow.

I am amazed at the air flow through the case. It's perfect. Everything is running very cool.

It is amazing how different BC2 is to play. It's like a different game. Can't wait for dual GPU's and an SSD.

Loaded the rest of the Asus software on today for the Mobo and the Card. There is a nice OC program. I'll probably experiment with OC'ing but I don't seem to need any turbo or OC to play BC2.

I am loving the result. Never knew how bad my comuter and card was till now.

I bundled the wires in the back for now. I will probably go back to sleeve the cables for later. But the back is on and the tower is finsihed for now.

Wires generally under control. Should I cut the 2 remaining Sata power bundles once I put the SSD in and the Xfire GPU?

Wire side with back on.

Up and Running. Fans are running much slower with bios update.

Anyway, I'll be trying to figure out how to transfer COD4 and 5 profiles and load vent. Be seein you on-line soon.

Thanks for the motivation and all your help Blind.

That's weird about the fans. Maybe they can be controlled through bios and OC app?
