Lee could not have had a better game. The Phillies looked really good in game one. Hope they keep it up. The Yankees are bound to wake up now.

What are you doing up at 3am??
Yeah... I would say a pretty dominant pitching performance by Lee and very important win because I think the Yankees take the next two games. I bet they knock Pedro out in the first inning tonight. |

I often stay up half the night. I have no idea why. I seem to be able to function ok on 3 - 4 hours of sleep. It's been that way all of my life. I did most of my college homework between 1 - 3am. Thank god they did not have on-line gaming then. I would probably have flunked out cause I would have been up gaming all night.
No question Pedro has a mixed record against the Yankees. I think his era against them is close to 3.5. The Phillies can use a good performance from either him or Hamels in the first part of the series. Imagine if they can take 2 of the first 3 games. No matter what the outcome ... it's clear that this is the best Phillies team that has ever been assembled. It is such a good team that it is hard to belive that it actually happened in Philly. Usually, the city would make its up-and-comming stars head cases. Salius |

so far, your predictions have been right on the mark Blind. How's it gonna turn out.
My concern is that only Lee looks good on the mound. Hammels is starting to remind me of a young Carleton. Sailus |

How about 6. You were right in your intital anlaysis - Phillies pitching was not strong enough. Time to beef up the starters and bullpen. Grats NY.
