2 questions. 1 - Is there a particular sized wire tie that you like to use or should I just get a variety kit from Radio Shack? 2 - Will a hair blow drier work on the shrink wrap or do I need a heat gun?

I usually get a bunch of varied size blk wire ties.... they are so cheap. I think Home Depot, Lowes may have a better selection, look in the electrical department.

I use a heat gun but before that I used a candle, just hit it fast you'll get the hang of it real quick. I've also used a lighter works equally as well.
