No more leaning.... anything that takes a tactical advantage away from kel is a good thing.... I don't use the lean to much, couple times a game, two less buttons for me to remember  Lack of console commands... I always thought there were to many anyhow... even less for me to remember... better yet. 9 vs 9... I don't even look at a server with over 20 people on it. The real rub is the lack of dedicated servers, for me anyway, seems to be kind of a random deal with the option to opt out, but still a player's pc is the host... so when a family member decides to stream some video or something in the other room your f****d.... BLECH IW basically has turned your PC into a console with this game, I always kind of wondered when this would happen...... maybe it just became overly complex for not enough return... I mean why bother when you can sell a "dumbed" down version for consoles (which far out number the pc player) with less headaches. Even when you look at the forums that are broken up into XBOX, Playstaion and PC, the PC forums are heavily out numbered by the console players. I wonder how many people dumped a lot of money into upgrading or purchasing new pc's in anticipation of this game. We are dinosaurs and will be extinct in the near future.... At least in IW's eyes anyway. What should I ask for for Christmas... an XBOX or a Playstation? |

Downloading L4D2 Demo right now, after I'm done playing around with it I'll have my verdict on MW2.

Looks like EA is really trying to take advantage of the dissatisfaction with the changes to MW2 and trying to gain some ground of the COD series which has dominated the BF series. Open beta has been pushed up to Nov. 18th for playstation and the first week od Dec for PC. I think the beta will have one map but it will support dedicated servers. There will be a demo out the first week of January for all platforms.
