Game looks interesting. Beta will run from 1/28 to 2/25 with the game being released in March. http://www.joystiq.com/2010/01/08/battlefield-bad-company-2-pc-beta-dated-detailed/
Never played a BF game so not sure what to expect. Will be glad to leave MW2 and IW.Net behind if the BF series is playable. |

Looks like I'll be drinking Dr. Pepper. Check out EA's cross marketing ...
*** Electronic Arts is teaming up with Dr. Pepper to provide exclusive content download codes for popular EA titles, including Battlefield: Bad Company 2, Mass Effect 2, The Sims 3, Battlefield Heroes and Spore. The codes can be found on specially marked 20-ounce bottles of Dr. Pepper. The promotion will run for some time; and gives players a new way to gain exclusive content that can only be had by drinking Dr. Pepper and redeeming the codes. Publishers releasing information about their new titles through the use of cross-promotion is becoming much more commonplace. Based on what we have learned about the downloadable content, if you are a fan of these titles you can get some cool stuff. You might have to drink a lot of Dr. Pepper, however, in order to get what you want. Besides, we think it is likely that you will continue to see more of this type of exclusive cross- promotion. *** Although I am not a soda drinker, at least it's Dr. Pepper, which I can stomach enought to get my dl content (I can always feed it to my kids). Fudzilla put the beta date at 1/25/10. I sure hope that this game doesn't suck. Sailus |
