So considering how great our Wednesday Night Brawl was tonight, I'm proposing a weekly matchup. We could lock down Blind's server and meet for the matchup.

Here's my proposed schedule with map:

12/17: Phantom v. Waffles @ Crossfire

12/24: No Matchup

12/31: No Matchup

1/7: Syngin v. Stumps @ Killhouse

1/14: Ice v. Kelevra @ District

1/21: Dan v. Waffles @ Strike

1/28: Blind v. Fallen @ Broadcast


I'm basing this solely on who is on the most, and the fact that I've got to tape them so I'm not in on it. If you want, we could have a tourney.

Each of these proposed matchups follow this professional format:

Best of 7 game series, each game is best of 5 kills. First to three kills in a game gets the game win, first to four game wins gets the match victory.

We could even add a medal for most impressive performance, most EPIC FAIL moment, biggest defeat/victory, etcetera.

I want to man, I say we do this. If we can get an okay from the players in the matchups, I say we go for it with waffles and phantom next week. We can talk to blind and get him to either lockdown the server or open it and make sure someone is watching the other players and has a bind to tell them what's going on.

If I can get a hell yes from Phantom and Waffles for next week, I'll make up a full list of rules and guidelines. The only main ones I'm thinking of are -- No hiding, no jumping on top of things, must stay out in the open, must fight in the designated area(like say, in crossfire, we'd fight out front of the ice cream shop, district would be on main street, district would be on the sloped road, broadcast would be in the main lobby, etc). If you leave the designated area, the other player defaults as the killer and gets a point. Equally, if you break and of the other rules, the other player defaults and gets the point. Three violations in one full game and you are disqualified and the other player wins. At broadcast and probably other maps, you can't guard the edge of the fighting area, meaning you can't stand at the door and knife the other player as he comes in.

If we do this though, and if Ice or I mediate it, I personally will have a no tolerance policy -- You break a rule, you lose the point, accident or not. No splitting hairs, I am Don King bitch, smell my rat scruff.

We could make some more medals, that would be awesome .

We actually have had a slight change of schedule: Because WAAAAFFFFFFLES! might not be able to make it, we're going to have an epic knife-off between Ice and Kelevra at Broadcast.

Ice and Kel -- Don King wants to speak with you.

Here's the rules:

You will play best of seven matches. Each single match consists of a best of 5 kills(i.e. get 3 kills in the match, you will the match). First to win 4 matches wins the game and gets a medal(maybe a twinkie).

At Broadcast, the fighting area is the main lobby, first floor. What is out of bounds: The stairs, under the stairs, the bathroom, outside, the window ledge, etcetera. After killing a teammate, it is your responsibility to be looking for him as he returns to the fighting area. You are, however, NOT allowed to guard any of the doors. While waiting for the other person to return, you may not break any of the aforementioned rules(i.e. stay in the fighting area, I don't care if you don't gain an advantage off of it, just don't do it). You must allow the other player to enter the room before you start going after him. Once the two fighters begin sparring, backing the other fighter into a corner is legal(if you back yourself into a corner, you probably deserve to die). Constantly running around and killing spectators will not be accepted either.

Any violation will first result in a warning. Secondary violations will result in a loss of kill, as well as third violations. Fourth violations result in a forfeiture of current match.

SPECTATORS BEWARE!! Spectation may take place anywhere not immediately impeding the fighting. We have prepared a statement of apology for the manization of Stumps, but we shall not cooperate with his or anybody else's lawyers with this matter. If you get dead because knifes are being thrown around, we are NOT responsible in any way.

I'll be there (Wed. @ 9 pm). I'm eady to kick Kels ass! HA HA!

In order to keep other non-H2K players from entering we will put in a private password for Wed. night fights!

Blacker maybe instead of having one matchup per week. We should have a tournamnet bracket style set up. Winner move on to next rnd. I'll be glad to Anyways, I'll be glad to kick if off this week. Afeter that maybe we can hav e seeding for the brackets. We culd also pistols one week and shotties another.

Personally I would like to take on someone on Vacant. Maybe jump is feeling brave enough to get his asteroid handed to him!

Hey gents,

Monkey the reason I didn't do Vacant is because we need a decently open space to do it in. Now granted, we could do it on the deck -- But common man, this is America, we're all about the money, and on Vacant we can't get very good camera angles . We might do Bloc in the pool though -- That would be awesome!!!

I have had a lot of people ask about a tourney style, and I do think we'll do that. At very least though, as Ice suggested, we need to get enough people together to play each other before then so we can get a decent seeding system set up. After that, we can talk to each person in each matchup and figure out when they can go. I can set up a map rotation then(sorta like the NCAA tourney ).

It depends on how big people are on seeing the pretourney matches. If everyone wants to see them, it'll be a pain in the ass. If not, we can fly through those. Like say, if Ice and Kel are on tonight, we can lock down the server, send a private message out on here with the password or have someone on vent willing to distribute it through chat, and they can go at it(I say for the small ones, a best of 3 matches would do, that way we can see each players level clearly and we can get a feel for how the system will work).

I vote for just having at the practice rounds whenever people are on. I likely will only be sparsely taping the practice rounds, I'm still playing around with different screen capture programs because Fraps files end up like 4 gigs for a one minute film(not gonna work out).

Another Spectator Rule: If things get feisty in the stands and spectators start killing one another, you will be kicked AND if you're in an upcoming matchup, you could be subjected to forfeiture(reason being -- These fights are about the two fighters, not the crowd, respect the Don King power bitch).

Ice -- I would say shotties maybe, but not with Kel . Not pistols though, too long range. C4 would be AWESOME!!
