Hi my name is Cow (Quake 3 name) After 2 or so weeks of not playing Quake I tried to log into your server and was banned. I would like to know why I was banned thanks.

no this time it's not a technical error, this time the ban is really for you instead because of vote abuse and vote wars. ok, you'll be banned a couple of days (till the next monday in the morning, european morning) and I hope that you understand the situation and that after this you stop on that behaviour because if you infringe again on this the next time the ban will last much more, the vote option is there to be used with sense, care and respect toward the rest of the people and the own game itself not simply as a way to somehow "force" anyones will.

well, as I think that you know all the information concerning the HiszY Servers is private so it makes no sense that you go asking who got banned or not because of that, not at least on that way, but all I can tell you is that the rules applies to everybody, so what you can do instead is report in the event that you find that we missed something.

Well I think I deserve the right to know the information if anyone else was banned with me as it concerns me if anyone else was banned for the vote wars other then me because if I was part of it shouldn't I be able to know if anyone else was banned as some people may not be even part of it and was banned? I feel like someone is lieing unless someone else was banned with me. Also I would like to know what you were told about the vote wars and vote abusing. You could always private message (pm) me this information as I do feel I have a right to know what information you have about this whole mess. If you do not want to give me information of my ban I guess I will not be coming back to a server which bans people without giving out any information to the banned person about why they were banned.

no, I disagree, I insist, who got banned or not and why does not concern you, it does only concern the parts directly involved, this is, the HiszY Staff, the offender and the accuser and you're none of them, you're not a member of the HiszY Staff (that's obvious) and you're neither the offender (I mean, towards other case) nor you're reporting anything that would requiere any answer so it's simply not your place to ask about bans in where you're not a part and more or less (may be on private I don't elaborate so much but on the real content) this is the very same answer you would have received on private, I'm just answering you here because this is the form of contact you have chose not me.

ok, said that, now obviously from that you can take that as the offender in this case you obviously have the right to receive a explanation about why you got banned as you already did and as it seemed that you already had agreed so now that even the ban has expired I don't know what's the point of this, I can tell you that there wasn't any report, this was just the result of weeks paying attention to who was making a sane and possitive usage of the vote and who constantely and openly did not and seriously now deny it, it won't make any better.
