Hey guys,

As you will undoubtibly all know there has been alot of downtime recently with the HKS Site & Forums (and many aspects are still not up yet)

The cause:

Basically my webserver has been targetted throughout the last week by a team of hackers, It started as a DDos attacked which i managed to stop. But then after doing some more scans i have also found some exploited scripts etc. these have been much harder to deal with and have been taking alot of my time up.

Now i seem to have dealt with those but i am also faces with alot of security holes that have been left behind as a result of this,

So expect a little bit more downtime for the next few days (i will announce once all is well and done) I have identified a few thinsgs which were likely to be the cause of the exploit and i will be able to put things in place to prevent from further problems of this nature in the future.

So please bare with me over the next few days as there is alot to be done.

With regards to anybody who wishes to offer help, Thankyou but i will need to do most of this myself simply to be sure all is done in the intended manor.

Hope Francis has good luck w/ site. BTW, I'll be @ NHRA Races this week Wed-Sun. If I get back early any nite, see if anyone in server, otherwise, see everyone after the 17th.

Quick update,

Main part of the webserver is all now up and running properly,

Just 1 or 2 (read 10 - 20) little tweaks to do and i can then start restoring websites,

Expect the HKS Site to be done sometime tomorrow night (first on my list)
