Well my steam account got hijacked :/ I don't know how this happened but I lost like 100$ worth a games with it. I sent a message to steam and waiting for a reply but if I don't get my account back I think it may be a while till I can play TF:2/CS:S again D:

I'm posting this because I would like to know who (if anyone) had their account hijacked and returned from steam.

Usually, if you can prove that the account was yours, they'll find a way to give it back to you. Hopefully you had a hard copy of the game, but I think digitally distributed ones work too as long as you have the CD Key or some proof that the game(s) attached to the account was yours.

did u do that or at least copy pasted it ?

I just got it back 2 days ago... I would have posted here right away but I went to my brothers for a few days.

BTW I just took a photo of my Orange Box product key from the game case and they gave the account back to me.
