With all the updates that ET had, I'm having problems getting onto ET pro servers now. I know you had made a how to blog on the other forum. Can you do it again for me. I guess with all the updates it pushes ET pro drivers out.

no problem all though not all problems are on your side.
server is not finished yet because the new updates are not uploaded to dedicated server meaning you will donwload at 13kbs. unless you download the files yourself.

but main instructions for et pro is have everything up to date

first download patch et 2.60b:

up there is windows patch if you have mac i can find that for you as well just let me know.

now make sure when downloading it says Open not Run.

if it says run means you are just getting regular patch not 2.60B

click open when install finishes

unzip file to the desktop

open mycomputer
/program files
/wolfenstein

in that file more than likely the last two unless they where moved
will be ET and ETDED both files having the wolfenstein logo as icon

drag new files of ET and ETDED (previously unzipped to desktop)
in folder they will say already exist would you like to replace.
say yes to all then there you go you are ready to play et pro.


if after all this done still having problems, more than unlikely cause 98% of the time people who cant get on pro is because they dont have the right patch. list your problem here and i will get you awnser soon as possible.

Hey Nixon thanks for the help. I somehow got it to work but only tried 2 different ETro servers.

no problem its as simple as that...now i need to upload our server to dedicated server so download speeds are better then we are good to go.
