I have been playing on the I am gaming server for a few days now, and so far it's been really fun. I had no issues with the staff and didn't have to deal with too many raids until a moderator (I believe) adverted to raid our base. Someone had built a giant base around our area and I was trapped outside, so naturally, I died first. I then proceeded to go back to the outer wall and wait for the end of the raid. The door opens, and hermit, the one raiding shoots me while I'm waiting for the raid to end. I go back to wait outside a second time, and the same thing happens. (I wasn't armed at the time and wasn't trying to re-enter the base)
Now I'll admit, I got a bit mad. So the third time hermit opened the door and started to fire at the group waiting outside for the end of the raid, I had a (very cheap and overpowered) double barrel shotgun with me. He shot first and I shot back, but the double barrel was a bit better than whatever he was using. So he respawns, and bans me for two and a half days. I haven't gotten in trouble with the staff until then and I didn't even get a warning, but I get banned for two and a half days for defending myself. So. I'm here to question the validity of that ban, as I am not sure where to post a ban appeal, so apologies for that.
