InsomniaX Clan
Dictionary meaning:
in·som·ni·a (Pronunciation[in-som-nee-uh]) –noun inability to obtain sufficient sleep, esp. when chronic; difficulty in falling or staying asleep; sleeplessness.
in·som·ni·ac (Pronunciation[in-som-nee-ak]) –noun. a person who suffers from insomnia.
in·som·ni·aX (Pronunciation[in-som-nee-aks]) –noun. a person who plays MMORPG's way too much, when they should be sleeping.
InsomniaX in a nutshell:

Current MMORPG's:
InsomniaX currently plays a wise variety of online games and we will re-emerge back as one clan when darkfall is released, to produce a large but still personal clan with the basic aims of city ownershpi and to control a reasonable section of the playing map. Most of us are sick of the carebear environment placed into all the recent mmorpg's, and miss the cutthroat pvp system originally found in UO over a decade ago.
So Darkfall is our next planned MMORPG, which has been in production for about 7 years, but will be out soon. Darkfall is a very heavy clan based PVP orientated mmorpg. So a large well organized clan is essential for release. Which is why this clan is prepped and ready for its release, so early.
Who we're looking for?
Quality English speaking people who want to share the MMORPG experience's with us. And like our name says you probably spend a lot of time in game. The clan is International and has players and experienced leaders, in all time zones, so the clan with be active, both in game, and on our voice chat servers 24/7.
Age range:
We like to think we're 'mature' but since that word gets thrown around so much here's some examples of what 'mature' actually means:
We respect that people have real life commitments, be they family, work, studies etc.
We respect that one of our most valuable commodities is time so we try not to mess people around in game or assume the virtual world will stop spinning just for us.
We respect the time investment that goes into mmo gaming so listen to each other's concerns and challenges.
We have real life pressures and commitments so little time for petty squabbles and whining. We play for fun not drama.
We all have bad days and we've been around long enough, not to take offense unnecessarily.
We take charge for our lives and our gaming experience so don't expect everyone else to solve our problems or cater to us.
We can give/take criticism and praise without being abusive or going on ego trip.
We respect leadership and know how to challenge decisions and policies without flaming.
So what age range generally exhibits the above qualities, we'd hope 18+, but unfortunately age and maturity don't always increase proportionately. Current members are in their 20's to 40's with a lot being married with kids.
Leadership style:
We're not into bureaucracy, gaming and fun is our focus... we have experienced mature leaders that aren't afraid to make tough decisions but more importantly we believe the clan is owned by all and anyone can step up to the plate and contribute.
Yes like all clans we have our main leaders but our strength is that our leaders, co-leraders & officers are all here to facilitate the community and fun, and not to dictate your gaming experience.
I know many of us have been let down by guilds where officers are MIA (missing in action) or close minded and controlling... while we're only human, our desire at Insomniax is to break away from that way of doing things.
