Official Rules/FAQ

1. Banned?

If you have been banned, then you are most likely here to flame at us, or appeal the ban.

1. Please identify your in game name at the time of the ban , and by whom you were banned (if possible)
2. Please continue to submit a ticket under the unban request section. An admin will be assigned to your case and will be in contact with you via email.

2. Joining [kS]

Requirements:

1. Server & Forum Activity - It is expected you play on our server(s) often & keep yourself updated with what is going on at forums.
2. Xfire Usage - Using the Xfire client to communicate is required. TS3 (TeamSpeak 3) is optional but recommended.
3. Minimum Age of 15 years

Information:

1. No skill level is required.
2. You will not be required to donate, but it is highly encouraged.

Recommended steps to join:

1. Register on the website http://www.kombatsyndicate.com/forum/
2. Begin to make a presence on the forums
3. Add other members on Xfire & GameTracker; this is our xfire group: http://www.xfire.com/communities/ksgamers/ & gametracker: http://www.gametracker.com/clan/kombatsyndicate/
4. Play with other members in the server and join us in TS3 if you want
5. Be respectful and do not do anything stupid
6. Post a join request application

3. How do I report cheaters?

2. Submit a ban request with sufficient evidence in the ban request forum

4. Call of Duty 4 Specific Generic Server Rules:

1. Don't Spam JFF add-on or chat console
2. Do not advertise
3. Respect other players
4. Use your common sense and you'll be fine.
4.1. Call of Duty 4 Specific Server Rules:

1. Grenade Launchers are not allowed
2. Do not throw a grenade and switch teams (nadeswitching)
3. Glitching - No turret glitching/out of map in softcore or hardcore, doing so will result in a kick from servers.
4. Don't whine about the map rotation and don't make any requests.
5. No scrolling, scripting or other fast shoot methods. Doing so will result in a kick and if necessary a ban.
6.Always use auto-assign & balance the teams when that is necessary. So, DO NOT change to the winning team!
7. Spawn Killing is ALLOWED but Spawn Camping is NOT ALLOWED
4.2. Call of Duty 4 Specific Promod Server Rules:

1. 1st round Knife Only.
2. Much swearing/calling names & other kind of bad language is NOT allowed!
3. Glitching and Jumping is ALLOWED in promod
4. The in game chat is no plat forum for political, racial & religious debate. So, don't even think about starting one.

5. Forum Rules:

1. Spam the forum LOL! But don't be stupid .
2. Try to post decent and relevant material.
3. Follow instructions and orders of the admins.
4. Respect every admin or other member on the forum.
5. Speak (proper) English.
6. Don't bump old, dead threads unless emergency.
7. Don't report threads as a way of contacting us.


Disobeying any of these rules will lead to warnings, kick or even bans
from both the servers and the forum.

Order of (most) penalties:
Warning -> Kick -> Temporary Ban -> Permanent Ban.

NOTE: Cheating on any of the servers will lead to an immediate and permanent Ban !
