It seems there is a little bit of confusion as to the different gametypes and how each is played. I will lay out the couple that we have been using, but if needed, we can put together a complete list.

DM : Deathmatch - Pretty straight forward, shoot anyone you see.

TDM : Team Deathmatch - Same as DM but you only shoot the opposite team. If you shoot your teammates the damage is reflected back to YOU! Teammates have an icon above their head showing their current rank. You will not see the rank icon of the enemy.

HQ : Headquarters - - In headquarters, you are on a team just like TDM, with friendly icons and reflected friendly fire. But the objective is to establish a HQ by populating the area around the RADIO. The radio will show up as a star on the compass until one of the teams captures it, at which time the compass icon will change to the icon of that team. If the enemy sets up an HQ, then you must get to it and destroy it by standing near it. The team is awarded points for how long they can hold it.

Once the radio is either held for the maximum time, or destroyed by the enemy, it blows up and respawns somewhere else on the map and you start all over trying to caputre it.

CTF : Capture the Flag - Team based just like TDM and HQ but the objective is to capture the enemy's flag and return it to your base, where your flag is. But to score your flag has to be there, if the enemy has captured your flag it will be gone and he will have to be killed so he will drop your flag and you or a teammate and touch it to return it to your base.
