Hi guys i have gone to 1.7. as i was not interested in playing on datalec servers and AAT is to boring. I also cant get into HC mode
which the rest of the servers are now.

Had afew games on 1.7 and you can tell the difference with the more accurate hits from bullets. Sniping is really fun. There are plenty
of good normal servers too and yes :.NS.: was owning. Games go for 20mins so 100+ when i used mp5

how do you transfer over to 1.7?

Yeah I upgraded to 1.7 ages back too. I found the playing better but just not many ppl playing 1.7 servers. Im more than happy to upgrage 1.7 if everyone is keen but if no one crosses over we wont be able to play on the same servers.

Basically if you upgrade to 1.7 you wont be able to see the same servers you see currently. I think we should all cross over if some of us are thinking bout it. Least that way we will all be able to play together still.

To Update to 1.7 just select the link below and download the exe patch.http://www.cod4central.com/cod4-patch.php


Just remember once you patch to 1.7 you wont be able to see the same servers you see now. To go back to normal servers you will have to unistall COD and reinstall

you need to update to 1.6 first then do 1.7 also i would say there are far more players on 1.7 than the other now

i want to switch to 1.7 but the problem is i want 1.0 open as well..dang..i want my golden profile..LOL..how????

hey hey sorry been out for a while [pc probs] i like the 1.7 idea .. i did it before then went back cause there wasnt hardly any good servers .. now might be the right time to give it a try


if you guys are worried about loosing ur profile you can save it... before patching go into ur cod4 folder then into players then copy your profile folder to desktop or whatever then after patching past it back into the same place .. and or if u want to go back to regular cod4 then after reinstalling paste it back in again .. ether way its probably a good idea to have a copy of your profile saved elsewhere


btw i just upgraded my cod4 to 1.7

I'm going to upgrade tonight back to 1.7.

BTW all, I spoke with Rasor sat night, he wasnt able to give me any info on clanwars servers. Guess its 1.7 for me seen as though AAT wont let me kill them anymore

As for Datalect servers... they lag bad and seems to be the local Noob hangout..

Sorry to kinda force you guys into change but i wasnt feeling it without clanwars.

As for 1.7 i have been playing on the various internode servers they are setup with a variety of different respawn times like the wait 5sec kill cam, the no delay and the skip replay option. I suggest we pick one of those and take it over as NS.... Muhahahaha
